Salty n Sweet Chickpeas

So, OH has been craving nuts for the past fortnight (he used to eat them by the HUGE bag full) and whilst surfing ********* I found a recipe for roasted chickpeas.

made them and yum! Crunchy and satisfying and only one syn (honey)

i got a tin of chickpeas, rinsed them a few times with water in a colander
poured them into a clean towel to soak up excess water
put on a baking sheet lined with grease proof paper for 45m at 200 degrees
took out and placed in a bowl with two tablespoons of honey and one of nutmeg
back on the baking sheet (with paper) for 10 min
out, divided them between two (sprinkled with salt) and nommed

I LOVE roasted chickpeas- this is what I make when I fancy some nuts. Never had sweet ones though, thanks for the recipe

I usually do them spicy or garlicky.x.

My group leader said that these would be synned as your changing them to what there suppose to be used from, bit like using fruit for a smoothie but I maybe wrong?????

iv never tried roasted chick peas but i think im going to try this next week! chick peas added to shopping list! thanks!
