Hey my name is Lauren im on my first week on SS weigh ins are Thursdays so im 5 days in and was wondering if anyone wanted to join a group with me 'santas little slimmers' if like me, your target is to reach your goal weight by Christmas! hope there are some others out there with this target I know its a big goal but its achievable! I have 3 1/2 stone to loose! xXx :)

I have too much weight to loose to be at my goal for Christmas but I'd like to be well past halfway by Christmas and loose another 3 stones. Do I qualify as a Santa slimmer? :)

of course lol :) you still have a great goal to reach by Christmas and I wish you lots of luck reaching it, this is my third attempt at Cambridge sole source so hoping 3rd time lucky. last time I lasted 3 weeks and lost 12lb so nearly a stone but that was with cheating (bad I know) so I thought well just think what I could achieve if I stick to it properly not sure if im looking forward to my first weigh in Thursday or not! I think ill be disappointed if I don't loose atleast 6lb, 7lb would be fab half a stone but we will see :-/ when is your weigh ins? have you been on the diet long x

Hi Lauren,

I'm sure it will be third time lucky for you. Go you, getting back on it for the third time. I fear if I fall off the wagon il eat my current weight in food in a day.
This is week 4 for me. Mostly SS with the odd SS+ day. This has been the hardest week so far (apart from the first few days of course). Think I'm just getting a bit bored, but more bored of being fat, so I've stuck it out.
My weigh ins days vary because I'm a nurse and do shifts. I usually try for a thurs or fri morn. I'm not hopeful for this week, despite being good, because I was ill last week, only had water for a few days and lost 6. So think I might have regained some of the fluid I lost when I was ill. That and my totm due :(.
We can do this. Wel be fabby this Christmas, instead of my usual flabby xx

this is my thinking too, I know the diet is very hard and boring but would I rather do that or stay fat :-/ so much temptation in my house too I have an almost 3 year old little boy and of course he has snacks around the house it wouldn't be fair to deny him treats just because im on a diet so its not easy! my first weigh in is this morning at 10.30 im a little nervous I know I must have lost weight but I was aiming for 6 or 7lb to say I lost half a stone would be amazing as I did this last time I was on it in my first week but I just don't know my scales are saying different seemingly only a 3 or 4lb loss which is disappointing but its still a loss I suppose my consultant told me not to check the scales but its blummin hard not to when there sat there in the bathroom n ive been pretty much starving myself I kinda wanna see results- and quick lol! just got to keep thinking of motivation- being able to have my first clothes shopping trip and enjoy it! I love shopping just for anything else other than clothes gets really annoying seeing things that look nice then trying them on and looking awful in them because on the model in the window she was a size 8 lol grr. time for change! xx

hi lauren im laura my weigh ins are thursdays just had my first weigh in and lost 6lb but im on my period so hopefully that will show next week but still happy had to buy size smaller in leggings as other ones baggy, ill join santas slimmers but like marie ive got lost to lose but 3 stone by xmas would be halfway for me also, hope you weigh in goes well x

Welcome Laura well done on your 6lbs. That's a fab start. How was your weigh in Lauren? Don't know how you do it with a toddler Lauren. They leave so much of their food uneaten. I'd be like a human Hoover :0.

My weigh ins cancelled this week. My CDC cancelled. So that's me til a week on mon then I'm going to try to weigh in every mon.

Here's to reaching our Christmas goals x

Hi Laura I would like to join your group! I'm aiming for 2 stone by November when I'm 30 so would love 3 stone by Xmas if I can stay on it til then :-/
I too have done this diet twice before but get fed up and come off :-/ but I'm 30 in 8 weeks and going to New York for 5 nights and have a party so want to feel amazing!!
I agree with shopping I look awful in clothes I would love to wear!!
I too have children so lots of snacks and treats in the house and a greedy OH!! The house always smells of yummy food :(
I love baking too which I have had to give up I can't wait to be able to bake again but not worry about eating some of it :)

So my start weight is 14.8 I get weighed on a Wednesday morning (this is the lowest I've been in years!! 18.2 was my heaviest ?

Well Goodluck be good to keep each other going if your up to it :) xxx

hi marie was hoping for bit more off but good start, i have 4 children under 10 so temptation everywhere lol but have not give in, hi hayley 3rd time lucky think it will be good we can all push each other through it lol

Hi Laura, 6lb in your first week is really good :)

Hopefully if we all keep chatting on here we will stick to it! It's the hardest diet tho I swear!
Tonight the family are having chicken supreme making my tummy rumble already ?

I would love to be a consultant ultimately if I can get that far!

it is hard what step are you doing im on step 2 so can eat small meal

Also I would be really annoyed if my CDC cancelled!! How will u get your products?
She's normally really good but she's ill. I work shifts so go weighed after 4 or 5 days sometimes but always take a week work of products so I have extra. Need to stay away from the dreaded scales. I'm a serial weigher :( xx

Aw Hayley it's murder. I can weigh myself up to 3 times a day. And if they don't move it's so disheartening. I actually sometimes get my oh to take the batteries out and hide them, then a day later, I'm pestering him to put them back in. Mental :( x

Hi guys lovely to see some new faces :) hopefully we can all have some motivation together. my first weigh in went well I lost 6lb and a total of 6 1/2 inches off my body 2 of which were off my waist :) im fairly happy with that. I have a minimum set for 3lb a week if I can as that will take me past the 3st mark by xmas but even if I only manage 2lb a week that's still 2 stone! wow to going to NEW YORK fantastic place I have only been once but it was a great experience and I havnt been since they put the memorial up for 9/11. Friday 13th today guys haha hope nobody has bad luck today :) keep the great work up remember this is not forever and as the famous saying goes...I like food...but being skinny tastes better!! xx

Untitled.png Just thought id share a pic with you guys- I apologise in advance as its not very nice to look at haha. this is back in 2011 when I last did Cambridge from late august 2011 to the start of October I lost 12lbs and can you believe in only 12lbs how much my tummy shrank not long afterwards I gave up :( so wish I hadn't as it would of just kept getting smaller and smaller! I know its not a huge loss or difference but I think its nice to be able to see before n after pics where you can see some change and that wasn't even a stone loss at that point. ughhh my tummy is gross, and also just to point out that was with SS+ and bits of cheating! this time im on SS alone and no cheating so hoping results will be faster and more drastic! xx

Wow you can really see a difference!! You can do it this time we all can :)
I always struggle come the weekend Friday and Saturday but I'm being strong (so far)

yes here here, ive had my shake this morning and a couple of bottles of water so of to a good start in all honesty I don't feel remotely hungry in the day its at night when im sat watching tv lol so used to snacking even though im not hungry and I don't need it think its psychological really you think you want to eat but its boredom looking forward to getting through this next week as aparantly the first 2 weeks are the hardest then it gets a lot easier hmm lol xx
