Hello Every one :)

Well a little about me.....Some of you may recognise me from the many other plans I have followed over the years as I have done just about everything!! My weight has been up and down from 18st 6lb to 13st...so a typical yo yo dieter!! Enough is enough and I need to stop messing about and focus!! So here I am, a fully fledged member of Weight Watchers as I joined a group this morning :D:D:D I have several health issues (arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic migrains, PCOS, endometriosis....) so take a few meds for these which play havoc with my weight so for me, group support is so important to help keep me on track.

I am a single mum with 2 boys (19yrs + 6 yrs) and dont currently work due to my conditions....which has lead to not being very active and gaining 2 1/2 stone recently :( But like I said above, enough is enough, it's no good for my health and I feel really rubbish in myself so today being the start of a brand new year, what better time to start :D

On 1st Jan I weighed 15st 6.2lb and did 2 days of the Exante plan but with some food and some shakes but it wasn't for me, hence me becoming a Weight Watcher :D This morning at weigh in, fully clothed (of course! :D) and after eating breakfast I weighed 15st 5.5lb so a little loss in those 2 days. I have now incorporated those 2 days into my WW plan and kept my start day as 1st Jan as this is after all where I started to ger serious again......

....So here goes, Day 1.....wish me luck!! :)

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all here on the WW forum and I wish you all a wonderful Happy New Year :D

Hi, Aw thank you :) I am feeling very excited and motivated for this!! Have spent this evening planing my meals for the week and got them all tracked on the WW app already :) xx

Ha ha oh I don't know about top student but I will try very hard!! lol ....hmmmm well this week I am just using up all what I have at home so I can do a really good shop ....and I want to buy a chest freezer so I can get some batch cooks done and frozen.... for lunch today i made a salad and used a cooked chicken breast from yesterday, shredded it, seasoned it and as plain as it sounds, it was really nice......but I think my fav this week will be chilli con carne :) Do you have any favs?? x

Great minds eh! :) How do you find it being an online member? I did think about doing it online rather than group and may well switch to that in the future :) Thank you for subscribing, its great to have such lovely support here :D:D and of course i will return it any way i can :D x
 
Hello! Just popping in to say good luck on your journey. Although I have been off the wagon for a while now I have always found weight watchers the bets diet in terms of my ability to stick it, because it's flexible and nothing is banned.

I have always done propoints though, so struggling to adjust to smart points as I used to know the points for all my favourites and now some of them are much higher so I need to find a different way of snacking in particular (no more chocolate!)

I find being an online member ok actually. I looked into going to a meeting but the only ones near me were at times that I couldn't go.
To be honest I just like having the app to track my food and to also record my weekly weigh in.
You'll find lots of nice support here :)

I'm also on the use up the items in the freezer routine! That's the beauty of WW that I can use everything, just some things in moderation! X
 
Whoop whoop excited......Just ordered my 300L chest freezer :D:D Shame I have to wait until 15th Jan for it to arrive :confused: ....but i guess that gives me plenty of time to decide what meals to batch cook and plan for :)

:D:D:D I am surprised how many meals I can create when I thought 'I needed to go shopping'!! All I really need to go buy is some potatoes for my frittata later this week :) x

Hi :) Thank you for your lovely reply, I appreciate it!! I did WW a few times over the years, the last time was last summer where I lost 10lb or so but then fell off the wagon but smart points I feel I will adjust to easily as I kind of don't really know any different as never developed any real habits with WW in recent times. The good thing about the change is that it stops complacency as its so easy to get used to it and have little habits creep in...so it could be just the change you needed to get you refocused again :D xx

Aw thank you :) I will indeed be adding lots of pis along the way......as soon as I clear the storage on my phone to make way for them all :D:D Which I will make a priority as I do have a habit of taking pics of anything I eat :D:D xx

I just took some 'clothed' before pics...as the ones I took the other day were in my undies :eek: ......I'm more shocked at how I look clothed that in my undies!! :eek::eek: These pics will defo keep me on track!! .....I may even pluck up the courage to share them here one day.....just not yet lol I need to adapt!! :D:D

Today I am eating out for the first time in a long time.....kind of like a date ;) I say kind of as I am not sure if I want a boyfriend just now so we shall see. He did ask me where I would like to go and I suggested Harvester...good choice do you think?? I have looked up what I could have and I think I will either have .Simply chicken', or '1/2 roast chicken with salad' or a plain chicken breast with salad as these seem my safest options of foods I eat ....What do you guys think? xx
 
Ooh a date!! How exciting!! Those sounds like great options. Not been to a Harvester in a while, but seem to remember they have a salad bar (or have I just made that up?!)

Oooooo a date! Harvester sounds great, just watch their dips and dressings as they are lethal! X
 
Thank you ladies :) Unfortunately the date didnt go well......He was so not over his ex....and broke down in tears :( I actually felt quite sorry for him as he was clearly still hurting......but I'm sure he will get over it in time. I wasnt disappointed at that thoufh as it wasnt a 'proper' date and he wasnt my type at all...so its all good really :)...Apart from the meal as Harvester had no Jacket potatoes as oven was broke so I had mash and only ate 1/3 of it....and got extra free salad so it worked out ok all in all :D:D How are you guys getting on?? xx
