May sound a little odd but what do you do on a Saturday evening? Looking for some new ideas to keep hubby and myself occupied without breaking the bank, not really drinkers and don't want to be going out for meals, just want something two old foggies can do now he no longer works saturday nights.

netflix/new dvd's and a marks and sparks countdown range indian takeaway

It's a great way to get through boxsets too. If you have a receiver that lets you change the dns settings (ie xbox, router etc) you can have american/canadian/mexican/denmark et al netflix - surprisingly the american netflix has more british stuff than we do!

Normally watch a film on sky or DVD and have a takeaway, it's our Saturday night ritual

Thanks for the suggestions. We do like a good film but was hoping to find something a little more sociable, rather than me attacking the crisps and chocolate while watching a good old thriller lol.

Well being single for a while now if I had a man I'd probably be having raunchy sex to pass the time

Oh and it's great for burning calories too
