my brain has been awful and I've been giving into a bit of comfort eating in the last 24 hours. :copon:

Thanks sarette.. will be out of ketosis after last night - so NEED to be strong and get back on track.

I realised what it was last night.. had a crap day and 'rewarded' myself, but in addition to this, I am getting near to where I fell off last time - I always seem to fall off diets around this weight as I was in the 12 stone range for most of my teens/early adult life. It is 'normal' for me.. and as I said to my hubby last night, i don't feel 'fat' anymore. Even though in reality I still am for my height.

I'm going to try and remember that I won't stay this weight if I jump off CD and that I'll be heading back here unhappy again in the future if I don't push through this now.

Sorry to go on. trying to remind myself what I'm feeling! lol

Aww I hope you're feeling better soon PH. I know what you mean about the sabotage though. I'm just pleased I've got through that first stone and a bit-because that's normally where I fall off. It's about the time that I've lost some weight before I go on holiday, then lose all motivation when I get back. This year's holiday I will be slim and able to do everything I want to do. Sledging here I come!:D

I'm too excited to eat anything at the moment, 'cos we're off to the garage a bit later to hopefully sort me out a new car! I'm going to have a strawberry mousse for lunch-then save my soup and a bar for tonight. We've got people round and they're all having fish and chips so I need something more to have tonight instead!

Hey PH You have done the best thing by coming back on here and getting your head in the right place - looking at your stats we are virtually the same and I know what you mean about not feeling fat at 12stone -

I have spent all of my adult dieting life yo- yoing and trying to get to the elusive 9st 7lbs so I would be in healthy weight range and have half a stone to play with but it has NEVER Happened. I always get 'comfortable' at about 11 - 11 1/2 cos I can fit into 14/16s and then kid myself that cos I have such a huge bust I wouldnt look right any skinnier and look better curvy! its amazing the power of the mind in sabotage!

The first time i ever did CD I lost 4st 4lbs and got to 9st 9 1/2 and then sabotaged it myself and started eating again - god only knows why - (hopefully KD will provide some very wise words at this point - I wish I had her insight and attitude towards food rather than the one Ive got!!!!!)

Anyway Im rambling now but suffice to say - they always says its harder the 2nd/3rd 4th time to stay 100% and i agree with them - the 1st time I was angelic whereas this time I have been out for meals a few times over the weeks with the OH and kids and eaten high protein - whereas I would never have dreamed of that the 1st time but the down side is Im now 7lbs behind where I wanted to be by now for doing it.

Just wanted to know you are not alone and we will be 100% today hour by hour!
    LOL

    Morning ladies.

Hope you're all well so far today.

Purple, we've all had sabotage days, we have all eaten for comfort, we've all tried diets and failed. What is important is that you're here today, determined to make it a 100% day and determined to get to target. One slip up means nothing as long as you've recognised what went wrong and remedy it. Be proud of what you have achieved, and show that little devil sitting on your shoulder that you're ready to let the sexy slim lady inside of you out!

I love everything about car shopping Sparkles, the test drive, choosing the colour, and most of all I love that new car smell. What are you thinking of getting? I'm trying to persuade H2b to buy me a new car, as he just got a shiny new company one and I'm jealous.

    Heres to a 100% day :D

oh I wish you luck - I remeber it well my little man always missed the potty and even now at 5 1/2 his aim and fire are pretty useless and manages to aim it at the toilet lid seat and it drips down the back!!!!!! Luckily I have persuaded him to mainly do it in the downstairs toilet so all of our loos dont smell like school boys toilets:rolleyes::eek:

Hi everyone! Sorry it's yukky where you are Curly, sun is shining here and it's properly WARM... this doesn't happen often where I live!!! Gonna get out and do some gardening to make the most of it. Got some plants on monday then had rain all week! Still... potty training, huh? Big hugs honey!!!

Sparkles, can't wait to hear about the car!

Jessica, you are doing really well - I know what you & Purple mean about stalling at a certain weight though. I did, big style, soon as I hit the 12s... it seemed to take forever to get past that and though I was determined not to give up I did bend the rules a lot and obviously that didn't help! You're so right about the things we tell ourselves to justify a cheat or to convince ourselves we can stop midway to goal. You are wise to all that now honey, so you're gonna get there!

Purple, have missed you on the threads this week, great to see you back. Sorry you've had a tricky time... try to see it as a learning experience and use it to get back on the wagon and focus again. You can do this, you know you can. Might be remembering wrong but did you get a small loss last time? If this has de-motivated you, hang on in there. I have had this for months now... 1lb loss or 1/2lb, or no loss at all... and it does get to you. You wonder if it's worth it, kid yourself that things are slowing down so a bite of quiche or whatever won't matter... and obviously it slows things even more. But I think that sometimes the body needs time to adjust to the weight shed and also to gear up a bit metabolism wise, and those weeks are a kind of plateau. And then, if you can hang on and keep going, you get a drop. I lost 5lb this week after weeks of sts or tiny losses, and that is good for 810. Was so glad I hadn't given in. If I can do it you can do it. Keep on track, and keep checking in or PM if you need moral support. We won't let you jump off that wagon again! Hugs,

    xxx

Lol Jessica and Curly... my son is 16 and he still has his moments... !!! Not really... I used to hate it when people said that, pulling a face and saying 'oh, but just you wait till...' It DOES get better, honest!

Hi Lisa, Tracie, Sarette, Sarah-Lou... all set for 100% today. Let's make sure we do it!

Morning all, I need to focus more today as struggling a bit with food at the moment. Too many yummy things in the shops and not enough coping skills developed by myself yet! Am on leave from work till 20th April but my routine is all out and am worried that the next ten days or so will feel like one looong weekend and i have always struggled with weekends. Sigh....
I will get there but feeling the pressure of not having my safety blanket of 810 :-(

Aw, sorry Curly... am guessing you are down south, you WILL get sun in the end, you get much better weather than we do! Had my porridge and on my 2nd half pint of herb tea... a bar for lunch and a CD 'latte' in the afternoon then 810 meal... that's the plan! Invited out for drinks and nibbles later, need to buy a bottle of fizzy water!
