I am so surprised that no one in my group has ever mentioned them. I'm wondering if they actually know about them. I'll have to tell them tomorrow.

The only reason I discovered them is because I had my Free Branded foods book with me whilst shopping and I thought I'd have a look to see what Morrisons foods were free.

This morning I had 2 grilled sausages, 2 rashers of grilled lean bacon, scrambled egg, baked beans and 2 slices of toast......all of it free :bliss: yaaaaaay!!!!!!!

I bought 2 packs on saturday - haven't tried them yet!
They're lovely Leniloo.
They taste even better than regular sausages IMO.
I have been using WW sausages which were ok at 1/2 syn. But these are much nicer and they're completely free on original and EE.

My nearest Morrisons is 30 miles away from where I live, but I must try these sausages next time I get there - I've heard so much about them and how good they are.

Just to add.

The Cumberland and the Lincolnshire sausages are 1/2 a syn too.

Sorry, I have no idea. I don't know how to count the calories

I've never come across the eat smart diet sausages, in fact I don't think they exist as eat smart is the name for morrisons diet range so I can't see them calling them eat smart diet sausages.

Perhaps someone who works at morrisons can enlighten us as to whether there are 2 types....eat smart and eat smart diet

These are 1/2 on original - 4 on green
Eat Smart Diet, Cumberland Pork Sausages, 8 pack, chilled 57g each
Eat Smart Diet, Lincolnshire Sausages, Less Than 3% Fat, 8 pack, chilled 57g

FREE on original - 3 on GREEN
Eat Smart Diet, Pork Sausages, Less Than 3% Fat, 8 pack, chilled~~ 57g each

1 1/2 original - 4 green
Eat Smart Reduced, Lincolnshire Pork Sausages, 25% Less Fat & Salt, 8 pack, chilled 57g each

1.5 original 5 green
Eat Smart Reduced, Pork Sausages, 25% Less Fat & Salt, 8 pack, chilled 57g each

1.5 original 4.5 green
Eat Smart, Extra Lean Pork Sausages, 454g pack, chilled 57g each

The ones that are free are less than 3% fat which I think is printed on the pack.

The info from the pack is 63 cal per sausage. 1.2g fat, 3.7g carbs and 9.5g protein.

I put the nutritional info into the slimming world syns calc online and it gave me this:

Free per package/portion on Extra Easy
3 Syns per package/portion on Green
Free per package/portion on Original

So I would say make sure the ones you have are the same in nutritional info as above and you will be fine.

and they are great for making syn free scotch eggs! I use bread (hexb) or cous cous (on extra easy) as the coating!
