Say No to junk food and Yes to healthier food!

    My food diary has far too many syns spent on chocolate, sweets and crisps. :eek:

    Since I lose control too often with these foods I've decided to set myself a challenge to greatly reduce my reliance on junk food. I can't say I will quit them forever but it's time to change my habits.

    Feel free to join in as if I'm not a good example I can always be a terrible warning:p

    I'm in sweetierufus...i started slimming world last friday 9.5.14 and had 1 weigh in I have not touched junk food at all, decided to cut it out totally for a month to re educate myself to not see it as a food group will be good to have an ally....

    So far so good. Keeping away from works tuck shop and work colleagues sweet jar. :D

    After a 3 day off plan want to be 100 percent on plan:thumbup:

    Day 12 with no junk, sweets, or other treats...minimal syns used purely for mayo, dressing or gravy. I will do this....21 days to go.

    That's fab Denise you must be feeling much be better with loads more energy.

    Day 1 for me and feeling great, less bloated and more energy. Was offered a toffee at work and turned it down, genuinely didn't want it. Asked my work colleagues to stop me if they see me picking up junk from tuck shop.

    I'm not doing slimming world (just calorie counting) but desperately trying to kick my junk food habit! I work really close to a McDonald's and it's sooooo easy to just nip across there for breakfast or dinner. Even if I stay within my calorie goal, it's not very nutritious. Not to mention my sweet tooth. Would love if I could join you guys in this challenge? Glad to hear you're all doing well (rocky horror slip up aside, but it's not like that's an every day thing, right?)

    The catering class at work had made cakes and biscuits today, i was invited to partake in eating them but turned it down...my BF couldn't believe it when I told him...lol

    I'm doing well today. Been more tempted today but holding strong. Work stressful this morning probably why I'm finding it harder.

    Had a couple of compliments today which have boosted my mood. :D

    Hey ive stuck to it today. Planned on not bothering til i get back and where ive not been thinking food ive not been eating it either. Crack psychology there somewhere! :confused:

    Just keep telling yourself its just **** food disguised with flavours, if you ate **** food in a restaurant you wouldn't go back for more....least i hope not lol...i think if we use the same thoughts it might help. We had a meet an greet today with all manner of treats made by the Mess and I wasn't even tempted in the slightest and no one at work knows I'm on SW so i wouldn't have had any backlash off anyone and its only because I've been fat too long and ive had enough of it and only i can change it, i'm not cheating myself out of a steady weight loss for the sake of a cake....x

    Well day 2 ended badly. Went out for a meal and it was awful and terrible service. Barely ate it. :mad:

    Had a banoffee sponge when I came home from shopping. I bought it at asda and everything else was sw friendly. However I can't resist a bargain and craved something sweet. It made up for a terrible meal. It was lovely :p

    I'm too knackered to feel guilty just gonna move on.
