My 3 S challenge stands for:
Slimming
Smoking and
Sleep.
3 things that I'm finding difficult at the moment.

I don't need to loose a huge amount but I want it gone.
I am currently cutting down on smoking and my plan is to quit completely .
I find it difficult to sleep for more than two hours at a time (I wake up in the night and then go back to sleep and wake up again throughout night and am exhausted by morning)so am going to try to address this somehow ( any advice welcome)

Will write up today's food later once I've decided what I'm having .
Hope you will join me on my journey.

Hi Sewingbee - dropping by to sub and wish you good luck! I had been having a lot of trouble with sleep recently, and found that Mindfulness really helped me. There are several apps out there, but I found Headspace particularly good - they have a series especially aimed at targeting problems with sleep.
Ooh thanks I'll look at that.
I went to a hypnotherapist last year who was good and although I still woke up in the night my quality of sleep was better but issue still with getting more than couple of hours sleep.
I'm getting an activity tracker for Xmas which records sleep as well so that will be really interesting to see.
I'm planning to up my activity too as well as stick to SW and stop smoking!
Phew busy times ahead!
I'm going to a dinner dance on NYE
And am planning my dress which I will be making. Gonna rock that frock lol!

Hi Sewingbee

Here to follow and wish you good luck!!

I had acupuncture to help with insomnia and it really helped! I never got more than 4 hours sleep in a row and now sleep at least 6!

Ooh 6 hours in one go would be wonderful. I've slept better the last couple of nights due to taking night nurse for my cold but obviously that's not a long term solution!
On a slimming note, yesterday was a write off . I felt so poorly that only instant comfort food would do -
But on a positive note I didn't have any cigarettes
