Yesterday, being the last bank holiday until August I went a bit crazy and had 6 pints of lager, 2 brandy and cokes and a large donner kebab. Should I even bother working out the points or just write off yesterday and start again today. I feel a bit bad about it now, and I am dreading the weigh in on Friday. I am back on track today though, which is good for me because usually it all goes pear shaped once I eat something I shouldn't.

If I start on my exercise bike now and don't stop until friday, do you think that might put me right :D:cry:

I always work out the points even if I have been out of control
I then use this knowledge as a way of keeping on track next time I feel I might get out of control maybe not add them up but do the individual items so you know next time and you might be in a position to make wiser choices :)

Work out the points - then you can see if you can "make up" over the course of the week, and if not it might well shock you into thinking next time the holiday spirit overtakes you ;)

Thanks guys. Am I right in thinking a pint of lager is 2 points and brandy is 1 point?? So for the drink alone I will have had 14 points. Does anyone know how much is in a large kebab? :( I think you are both right, I will see what the damage is and try and adjust my points as best I can for the rest of the week. I am so disappointed with myself, but I have given myself a good kick up the backside today and I'm back on track now.

...and you might find its not as bad as you had thought - and that you can actually pull it back.

    good luck. xx

a doner kebab is 9.5 but i think thats for a standard.
if it makes you feel any better i got carried away at a kiddies party today-had nearly double my daily points without even realising it

Oh 9.5 is not as bad as I thought, thanks. I didn't eat the full kebab because there was far too much meat so I would say I probably had about 10 points. I was expecting a kebab being about 30 points  so maybe I can redeem myself after all.:(
