I have decided to return the SW eating plan but this time i have decided to go solo :eek:

I have been recommended to post a diary so i can get hints, tips & encouragement.

I am going to post pictures....... actually thinking about it, is there a minimins iphone app???

Today so far i have had 2 cups of tea w skimmed milk part he A (I should to put some milk in a container so i don't go over the allowance)

Ok breakfast- finally!

Swiss bircher muesli and a raspberry & echinacea tea.

Swiss bircher muesli:

30g porrage oats hexb
1 apple -grated
2 tbs fat free fromage frais
Tsp sweetener
1 cup mixed berries (i have used blueberries & strawberries)

For best results make night before & can be made upto 3days in advance
 
yesterday i ate the following:

2x tea w skimmed milk 1 syn
swiss bircher muesli hexb
fruit tea
tea w skimmed milk 0.5 syn
Banana
tea w skimmed milk 0.5 syn
Chicken, Courgette, Parmesan and Quinoa Bake hexa
tea w skimmed milk 0.5 syn
Sausage and Tomato Pasta 4.5syn
exercise: 15mins on rebounder
total syns used 7

Hiya, just had to post as your food was making me drool lol-your breakfast looks lovely!


I've always wanted to try quinoa but I'm scared of it cos I do t know what to do lol. Your bake sounds gorgeous though, do you have a recipe? I'm not even sure I know what zucchini is lol (I'm not much of a cook!)

Its actually Courgette- the lady who wrote the recipe is canadian & i just cut & paste (lazy me). It was the first time i have had quinoa & it was lovely. I would say though, mine didn't set like a bake & i think it was because there was too much liquid- i didnt squeese the liquid from grated potato & courgette. but it was still yummy!

Yesterday i ate the following:

SW thai yellow beef & vegetable curry 4syns

exercise: none
total syns: 8.5syns

I didnt use my full hexa allowance as i was out for the day. however i did use coconut milk (the dairy free alternative to milk) in my curry & i am wondering if that could be part of my hexa allowance & that would reduce my syns for the day. Not sure though so i will leave as is.

Ooooo looks fab, always thought that Thai curry would be a complete no no-good to know its possible!

Sia, did you used to go to class, and just aren't going this time round, or have you never gone to class? I'm doing it alone as well (well, with my other half, but I'm showing him the ropes as he has no idea lol).

I have been to class before but i have decided to do it alone because i begrudge paying for class as i am a student again. I tried a class recently and i found it quite depressing.

I had another dinner :mad: i wanted to eat something & the only snacky things i have are turkish delight & dorritos- both of which i would probably eat the whole pack if i had any. I had leftover thai curry so i thought i'd eat that- it was filling & i didnt have anything else.

Today on the other hand i have had....

fruit tea
swiss bircher muesli hexb
2xfruit tea
3xboiled eggs with 2xslices of dry wholegrain toast (from 400g loaf) (i think the bread is 6syns)
banana
spicy mugshot
tea w skimmed milk hexa 0.5 syns
tea w skimmed milk hexa 0.5 syns
orange
small tin of sweetcorn :confused: (i am unsure why i chose this, sounds weird but i hit the spot at 0 syns)
tea w skimmed milk 0.5 syns
3 beetroots (weird choice again)
tea w skimmed milk 0.5 syns
SW beef burger w red onion, red pesto, mozarella (hexa) and Portobello mushrooms & ketchup
mini double chocolate magnum 180 cal= 9syns
2x squares of turkish delight (proper stuff from Turkey- unsure how many syns, 5 maybe?)
exercise: none
total syns: 22

I think i am either due on or i am eating as a way of procrastinating as i have an assignment due in tomorrow or maybe i have just realised i am dieting and thats making me want to eat?

I find on the weekends when I'm out of routine and I'm dieting, I just want to eat loads, it's all I can think about lol. But yeah, it could be procrastination too-im so guilty of that! What is your assignment on?
