    This is my 4th day, I wasn't too bad on my first and second day. But god it makes me feel shitty:(

    It will be going into ketosis. I had it, stick with it and it'll go. Feels like you have the flu with nausea.

    Ha I agree, massive temperature changes also :( il be okay, got Wednesday weigh in to spur me on! How long have you been doing it for?

    Yeah I was freezing the first week.

    I done 3 months sole source and lost 2 stone 10lb. Maintained for a few months then came back to lose a bit more. Now up to step 4 and have just 4lb to lose.

    How much do you have to lose?

    That's amazing :) health wise with all the bmi talk I need to loose 5 stone, but that's a long term goal! I wanna do 3 stone in 3 months.. I got a problem though, it's my birthday soon and I don't wanna have to ruin the whole no carbs and have to go back into it. I just want a treat :(

    You can do 3 stone in 3 months no problem. The reason I didn't is because I had 2 weeks where I stayed the same despite sticking to it. Don't worry though it's really unusual to have 2 sts weeks. My body just takes ages to lose weight lol.

    When's your birthday? If I'm honest the only way I could do ss was by being 100% as I really suffered going into ketosis so the thought of doing it again was enough for me to stick to it!!!

    What bmi will the 5 stone you want to lose get you to? I hate the bmi thing. I'm still technically above mine slightly but feel great and a size 12. I was talking to my doctor last week about it and he done my bmi on his computer and put in loads of things like did I exercise or smoke and when he done it I was exactly 25 which is normal, I said on the internet I'm still obese and he said nonsense your fine and healthy as you exercise and don't smoke etc. I'd take the bmi thing with a pinch of salt. For me my aim was to be a size 12 and fit in size 12's in what I call skinny shops like miss selfridge.

    The weigh in's will keep you going. I loved my weigh ins :)

    Is hate it if I stayed the same, it's so disheartening :( my birthday the 18th and tbf I haven't really suffered with ketosis just a bit cold and sick. If I lost 5 stone id me "healthy" but that's using the nhs bmi calculator. If I'm honest I just want to get to a size where I can walk in to a shop and buy anything but my size is always in stock. Roll on Wednesday weigh in :) I'm staying motivated.

    It wasn't good having 2 sts weeks but I was determined to be a size 12 again so stuck to it.

    Let me know how you get on at your weigh in.

    I salute you in doing that, I think if I had two sts weeks I would have given up!
    Haha ofc, I'm hoping for a good result for my first week! How long do you think you have left on the diet and what are your steps to keep going afterwards? X

    Well done, that's fab!!! I lost 8lb my first week and 6lb the 2nd!!! Such a good diet!! X

    hey, I wanted to message to get some motivation and advice as a newbie and thought this was a nice supportive thread. I am on day 7 but wont be getting weighed until day 12 so slightly nervous and excited, I also have a lot to lose roughly 7 stone so know I will need to input a lot of dedication which at present I feel like I will. I have struggled with feeling cold during the days and my face burning up in the evenings which is kinda strange, but mostly what I struggle with is the amount of water I need to drink, just wondering if anyone had any advice? Hope to hear from you soon

    Hi AmaD, day 8 for me now! It does get easier :) with the water intake I have a water bottle I continuously fill up everytime it's empty I'm straight to the sink :) how are you finding the shakes? Are you on SS :)

    The coldness and general pants feeling is normal. It's what I called the ketosis flu :) it's all good though and means it's working. Stick with it, you'll be fine once your passed the first week, just focus on your weigh ins, they help so much.

    AmaD - drink 3 litres and break it it up into 6 half litres throughout the day. Drink each half litre in one go. Thats how I managed it.

    Thanks everyone for the advice, I think breaking it up will really help I will keep you updated on how I am doing, you all have some great results which is very motivating, and to Bethcox I find the shakes ok, I much prefer the chocolate flavoured ones and last night decided to have a warm chocolate mint which was very nice, I do break it up with an evening soup every other night but found the porridges are not for me, and yeah I'm on SS its definitely been challenging especially as I live with others and they are always cooking and the food smells great lol plus great British bake off is back on which I love watching but makes everything very tempting but I'm staying strong and this perseverance will hopefully help in the future too, to know I cant always eat everything and anything I want are you on SS too? how are you getting on? :)

    I've just had a chocolate one for dinner, I really enjoyed it :) I had porridge but found it too stodge. Haha I know what you're saying, I'm a huge come done with me fan :') but well done so far!! I'm on SS, it's my 8th day and I'm okay, really struggled all day today for some reason but I'm feeling content now! I'm 7lbs down already with I'm happy about! When's your first weigh in?
