I have to say I can't notice the difference anymore and when I do have semi skimmed it tastes just too creamy.
I would try it in porridge and yr scrambled egg. I used to make porridge with water but it's lots creamier with skimmed milk. X

I don't miss semi at all either ....you soon get used to it ...have you tried unsweetened soya that's free and really creamy in porridge x
