Hiya,
I just wondered if you had to syn the skin if you leave it on salmon? I love how it goes crispy when you fry it!! If so what's the typical syn value??
Cheers

its still free on original or extra easy ^_^

Skin on chicken contains a lot of grease, whereas the lovely oils in fish skin are healthy :) Something like that anyway.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I think it is synned
Yo! Sushi, Hand Rolls Crispy Salmon Skin, per serving222
Yo! Sushi, Iso Crispy Salmon Skin, per serving22
Tesco, Salmon Fillets, Skinless & Boneless, chilled, 100g.
(6.5 on green but free on red and EE)

Ooo no!!! :0(
Do you have any idea to how many syns?? Should have asked at club last night but forgot.. Was so wrapped up in my 7lb loss you see!! The skin can't be that bad though I've had salmon with skin on twice in the week and still lost 7 lb ..

It's definitely free. If you search "skin" on syns online the only ones that come up are:

Turkey skin, 25g roasted 6
Chicken skin, 25g roasted 6½

There's no mention of fish skin, and you are never, ever told to remove skin before cooking fish. Even battered fish is free if you remove the batter and leave the skin on:

Fish & Chip Shops, Cod in Batter, batter removed, average large portion, 225g serving Free

Im pretty sure the Yo Sushi one is just because its literally fried ie in oil:

Check Our Restaurant Menu | YO! Sushi Restaurants & Takeaway
- Crispy fried salmon skin. 114 kcal
- Crispy Salmon Skin Crispy fried salmon skin with spring onion. 99 kcal.

There are loads and loads of other salmons listed that dont say anything like "skn removed" or "without skin" and are free.

Thanks Erm :D

Had salmon last night and wondered about the skin. :)
