Thanks everyone for your support and kind comments.
It was so hard putting the "before" picture on here.
Thank God that self preservation instinct doesn't quite let you admit how bad it gets, although you somehow do know deep inside...............its very complicated!
No wonder we have trouble adjusting to the new "Lighter" model.
The hardest bit comes next - introducing food and keeping it under control.

It is *sooooooo* inspirational to hear of success stories and that you lost 11 stone in about 8 months -- suddenly the goals that I have tried (and failed) to get to on other diets are suddenly looking attainable.
