Slimmer bride for June 2013- Slimming world food diary

    I need to get motivated to lose weight for my wedding in June. So I thought putting my food diary on here will help me and maybe others. Any ideas will be grateful as well.

    i have counted 32 weeks till we fly out to get married. So let the count down begin

    wk1- day 1
    breakfast - all bran crunch 25g - 4.5 syns, mullerlight yogurt -0 syn, Banana -0 syn

    lunch - Slimming world speed soup (homemade) - 0 syn, mullerlight yogurt -0

    Dinner - chicken lasagna (homemade) inc chicken, pasta, onion, chopped tomatoes, light Philadelphia cheese with chilli(70g-hea) served with salad and low fat dressing -0 syns

    Dessert - Dime bar cheese cake (homemade) inc alpen light cereal bar (heb) mullerlight toffee yogurt, gelatine, quark, sweetener dime bar (2 syns per serving) serves 4.

    Total syns used 6.5

    Drink so far - sparkling flavoured water peach and apricot -1ltr

    Exercise - Crosstrainer -30mins

    weigh in tomorrow, not expecting a change, missed weigh in last week. But these last 3 days I have stuck with the diet religiously. Pity I didn't start this diary earlier in the week as its really helping

    Hi there.

    Yes we are getting married in Santorini in June next year. So need to get motivated. I have brought my dress but could do with losing some weight so it fits comfy on me.

    Thought the site was quiet, but just doing a diary on here is really making me stick to it. Glad someone made a comment was starting to think I was the only one on here lol.

    Ohhhh lovely!! We are getting married in Portugal in sept so both abroad brides :D

    Haha yes it's quiet! I would of seen this sooner but not Been on for about a week!

    What diet are u following then? Ive had a lot of weight to lose to fit in my Dress phew think I'm nearly there!!

    Well made it through week one and finding doing a diary is helping me stick to it.

    I also made myself some motivation weight loss jars. Those who don't know what they are : one jar with Pounds to lose and the other pounds lost. In the jars you have beads or stones each representing 0.5lb. Put the total amount of stones you want to lose in the pounds to lose jar and for every 0.5lb you lose transfer it into the pounds lost jar. Keeping theses near my fridge so they are the first thing that I see and stop me from being naughty.



    Wk2 day 1

    Breakfast All Bran Crunch 25g -4.5syns, banana - 0 syns, mullerlight yogurt -0 syns

    Lunch - Butternut squash and red pepper soup 0 syns, mullerlight yogurt -0syns

    Dinner - Cowboy pie (hea- cheese) 0 syns, with carrots, broccoli and leeks 0 sys

    Dessert - Strawberry cheese cake (heb) homemade - 0syns

    Total syns today - 4.5

    Portugal is lovely had a couple of Hoildays there before.

    You have done fantastic with losing weight, well done you. The way you are going you will be soon be fitting in your dress.

    I am following the slimming world diet. And I am really enjoying it. I never been that keen in trying to cook before but I have been making loads with this diet from scratch and the food have turned out surprisingly lovely. Started the end of August. I do dread weigh in days but I think that's motivates me in being good (well trying to be good). I had a week of going a stray again but since putting my diary on since last Sunday I am back to being focus on it again.

    i would like to lose 2 stone but I think realistic wise for me I trying to lose 1.5 stone first.

    What diet are you following. Whatever it is its certainly working or you. Do you do any exercises at all.

    I have a Crosstrainer at home so I try and get on that most mornings before my four year wakes up. If I am lucky that my better half is back home from work a good time then I try and get back on the Crosstrainer again whilst my dinner is cooking.

    My weakness is at the weekends when I'm at home. I know there are food in my cupboard calling me. When I'm at work I have only got what I have taken in with me. Things we do to be slim.

    Awww thanks :) I tried slimming world but I just couldn't do it, wasn't for me!! It's brill though if u can stick to it, just go with the flow and see what u think, I've totally knocked how much more weight I want to Lose on the head now just gonnastop when I feel comfortable! Although I've lost nothing for months and months lol think my body has just stalled completely!!!

    I'm just healthy eating at the moment and going the gym, I lost my weight with a vlcd and ww :)

    I'm murder at weekends my OH is such a bad influence!!! Xxx

    It was chicken, mushroom and sweetcorn. Was lovely last night but regretting it this morning was feeling very blotted and heart burn. Back on the diet today. Least I had a treat.

    How are you. Upto much this weekend? I have my aunt down for a visit from Cyprus on Saturday then hopefully a lazy day on Sunday. Whatever yr up to have a lovely weekend xx

    Went to Star burger today as it was my friend sons birthday and my boy was invited. Thought the best option to have was Jacket potato and beans.
