I'm conscious that I'm likely to do a big push on the diet for the start of my summer holidays, but then eat badly during them and be faced with my crimes at the start of September. This thread is to try and make me avoid that.

So, by 1st September, I will have hit my target weight of 10 stone 7 OR I'll be somewhere in the 10-11 stone ballpark and be happy with the weight I am. (I can't actually remember where the right weight is for me, and I don't want to pin on an absolute number in case it's the wrong one). I want to try and shift the weight by some point in July, but most importantly, I need to keep it off across the summer.

If anyone fancies joining me on the big count-down, that would be great.

From here, I need to lose about 52 lbs and maintain it.

So how's it all going? I'm staying on the straight and narrow but barely dropping at the moment. It's TOTM, which doesn't help, but I'm feeling a bit blah about it all.

Need to get over it. The weight WILL come off if I stick at it.

Hi Moog, well done for sticking at it - it's tough when you don't see results but it will happen soon :) Do you have a WI day or just WI whenever? I'm a whenever girl - next WI is Friday. Best of luck!

Hi Mishelly - welcome :) How is everyone getting on? I'm doing okay with both food and exercise but haven't weighed for a while as haven't been to the gym. Hoping for a nice surprise when I next go although not sure when that will be!

Why is the weekend so hard? Been so good all week and then Saturday comes and I feel the need to drink my body weigh in wine! Back on it 100% tomorrow though :)

Hi can I join you all?

It's also my birthday in September and I'd like to be 12st by then, so that's 24lbs.

    I only started cc yesterday.

Any recs for family meals? I tried to meal plan last night and struggled a bit.

Hi Jellybean. I know exactly what you mean about the meal planning. I find it quite difficult as I'm usually cooking for my family or boyfriend too and they don't want diet food! lol.

A few good, easy things I make are:

    Pita Pizza's - 278calories
    Egg white omelette's - 250ish calories
King prawn stir fry - 250ish calories (I make it with noodles for the family and just have the veggies and prawns for myself)

That's just a few ideas. Most of the time though I just have what everyone else wants but use portion control! Much easier. As long as you work out the ingredients and calories you can pretty much have anything on this diet as long as you count them into your daily allowance! :) How many calories are you on a day? xx
