Ok Day 1 of Food Diary.

Green day

Breakfast 3am (don't ask) 2 X small wholemeal bread slices, 1tsp flora light & small glass of milk (1 X HEB & 1 X part of HEA 375ml skimmed milk allowance, 1 syn for Flora)

Mid morning real breakfast 40g Fruit & Fibre (husband weighed & didn't do 35g so need to syn 5g =1 syn...we had words) & milk (2nd HEB & another splash out of HEA)

Later morning - hunger pangs struck so....
Apple -FREE
Muller Light (mint one) -FREE

Lunch
Left over Rice Mish Mash (sophisticated techical recipe ;) ..rice, half tin of baked beans, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower florets, quorn pieces, onions & pepper all mixed up with some soy sauce) - strangely tasty and FREE


Dinner
Potatoes (roasted with Fry Light), Quorn fillets, veg as above & gravy (sync =2) followed by some grapes & a 3 syn meringue.

Visited parents - Asda mini donut - 3 syns

Supper-20g snickers (hacked into full snickers to weigh out 20g & gave rest to husband) 5 syns :)

TOTAL- 15 Syns

Rice, Chopped toms, Red Kidney Beans, Mushrooms & 2 light Laughing Cow triangles (2nd HEA)

1 slice wholemeal toast (3 syns), 1 tsp Flora (1 syn) & 1 Aero biscuit (5 syns)

Erm sw malteaser ice cream?? Please share! Lol. I love ice cream but have avoided it so far x
 
I can't find the full recipe this morning- I thought it was the magazine but it might be the website- but basically it was a small bag of maltesers crushed, mixed with aToffee muller light & a largish pot of fromage frais. Mix, put in the freezer, and stir regularly (this is where I messed up- i think it would be creamy if you stirred every 15 mins or so - or you could use icrecream maker?). The result is a big amount of icecream for 5 syns- or in my case I split it into two & had it Sun & Mon. It was really nice but would be better smoother. The bits of malteser were lovely!! I also think vanilla yoghurt might be better.

Hmmm - Chocolate pancake and around 14 peanut M&Ms - yes I know - taking flexi synning to the extreme. Was in Cardiff Motorpoint watching ***** ****** Superstar - which was amazing. So I think Thurs saw diet broken for first time in 3 weeks. Oh well.

 
Going to put this diary on hold while I try a week calorie counting & keeping a diary in that forum. This is not quite working for me - put on a 1lb and a quarter this week. I'm convinced I'm eating too many free food calories. Plus I broke the diet as above & had 1 extra HEB on Thurs & calorie counted yesterday. My fault for not sticking to it 100% this week I know, but the fact I'm struggling makes me want to try something different. On the plus side I have my marathon next Saturday!
