I dont brown the mince as long as its the extra lean stuff
I bulk make spag bol sauce and freeze my recipe is :
2lb Mince(ex lean)
2 large onions chopped
tablespoon of minced garlic (lazy stuff)
tablespoon italian seasoning
4 tins chopped tomatoes
tablespoon tom puree
loads of vegetables diced - I use courgette,pepper,mushroom, carrot
I put it all in the pot stir well and cook for 6-8 hrs on low.
Sometimes I add chilli and kidney beans to the leftover sauce to turn the spag bol sauce into a chilli too. Otherwise i freeze in meal sized portions.
