snack syn help

Hey guys,
I know this might sound a really silly question but do snacks have to be a 3rd superfree aswell?
E.g. can I have just a muller light as a free snack or do I have to syn it because I've not included a third fruit or whatever?
I'm sorry if this doesn't make much sense I'm just trying to follow plan absolutely 100% this time around.

As I understand it the one third rule is a recommendation and not mandatory - I think if you're following it with your meals then that's ok.
 
It's not applicable to snacks in the same way BUT you are encouraged to have superfree as your first choice of snack and then free food second. If you try and follow this it will naturally boost your superfree intake.
