I fry some onions and a couple of cloves of garlic, then add the extra lean mince and fry til brown. Then I add 2 beef oxos, salt, pepper, dried mixed herbs, a couple of spoons of sweetener and 1 or 2 cartons of passata or tinned tomatoes depending on how runny you want it to be. Simmer for as long as you can (stirring every so often)as I find it tastes better if left a while.

I use pasatta, splash of balsamic vinegar, few chilli flakes, veg stock, few mixed dried herbs and syn some tom puree.

Then I add it to cooked veg; chopped carrot, peppers, courgette, onion, mushrooms and browned mince.

I would never go back to pre made stuff now its not a patch on this.

Passata
1 beef oxo
2 spag Bol oxo ( brought from sainsburys )
Salt and pepper
Mixed herbs

Lovely whole family ate all and I had leftovers for dinner at work today

i put loads of superfree in mine mushrooms, onions, extra lean mince, mixed peppers, baby sweetcorn, carrots, tin toms, passata with garlic, chillies (just a small amount) lea and perrins and mixed italian herbs. my hubby never complains xx

Lean mince
Garlic clove crushed
Pinch of s&p
Parsley
Oregano
Mixed herbs
Peppers
Courgettes
Lea & perrins
Pesto 2 and a half syn
1 tbsp of tomato puree
Splash of white wine vinegar.

Works out 3 syns altogether. It was very nyc. Xxx
