Hey all.

I really want to try the speedy curry but... I detest baked beans. I am actually terrified of them! Does this sauce taste or look beany because I actually can't handle that at all!

I know it sounds absolutely insane but I actually can't help it!

Please give any input or advice because I don't want to go through the effort of making it if it's going to give me a heart attack by the end from just looking at it!

Love, Tasha

I found it ok, not to bad, it depends on what quantity of spices you put in it.

Try boiling up some cauliflower in chicken stock when boiled add curry powder let it simmer lovely whizz with a hand blender .

I need to try this mushy pea curry. I hate them normally but curried could be manageable ;)

Hi, I found this recipe for a basic curry sauce, haven't tried it yet tho :

Fry 2 onions, 3 cloves of garlic and 1 tsp of grated ginger in frylight for a couple of minutes.
Add 2 tbs of curry spices (presume this means curry powder, garam masala etc.) and fry for couple of minutes more.
Add 2 tins chopped tomatoes and 100ml of stock.
Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 mins to thicken.
Blend until smooth.
Reheat and add chicken, quorn, veggies or whatever you fancy :)
Remove from heat and stir in 100ml of fat free yogurt (optional).
Serve with rice or syn free chips.
