Stair Walking!!

I have decided as part of my new diet routine to start regularly walking up and down my stairs to help me burn off a few calories and improve my fitness level. At the moment am only managing to go up and down at moderate speed about 8 times before i'm breathless but hoping that each few days that amount will increase. Has anybody else used stair walking as part of their exercise routine?

I've not used stair walking as an exercise routine but I am up and down them often!! Just wanted to wish you all the best and to suggestion that you perhaps use just bottom step and go up and down on that as many times and as quickly as you can for a min, then increase the time every other day...just a suggestion

I was just thinking about this today. I try to get out walking a few times a week but sometimes life gets in the way or the weather is awful. I was trying to think of alternatives and came up with 'stair walking'. Must give it ago tomorrow and see how many times I can go up & do in a certain time.
