I want to get down to 10st 2 for my wedding (29th May 2011) - in fact I have wanted to get down to 10st 2 for approximately 13 years. The lowest I got is 10st 10 and then I piled it all back on as a treat for doing so well!

Has anyone on here had this kind of weight loss and kept it off? I know it's not a huge amount, but I find it SOOOO difficult to stay focussed.

Certain "friends" i.e.. Saboteurs tell me I should just accept what I am. I don't want to accept that this is the body i was meant to have because it's not!!

I am really struggling so if anyone has any success stories/advice/techniques etc I would really appreciate your input!

hi fmn
10st 10 is within the healthy range for your height but im sure if you want to go lower then it might be about finding different measure be it different diets, exercises etc. You have a realistic goal date so i guess its up to you to find what works for you. what diet/ regime are you going to follow and all the best with the wedding plans x

I was 10st 2 when I left school and I thought I was fat then!! I don't know why I am fixated on 10st 2 but I think I just need to keep going until I am happy.

it's good to have a goal so stick with it. What diet/ regime are you intending on following?

im sure you will succeed. Feel free to join us on our thread - "new start...." within the struglers & restarters section where we regularly post. my partner in crime fatbunny is currently on a cruise but will be back soon and she has followed slimming world before too so im sure she will have advice for you. I am restarting again from Monday so will post new start weight and feel I should be well enough for the gym (low impact) from Monday too. Look forward to hearing more about your loss. xoxo
