Thats great you should be really proud!

Alot of people say its harder to lose weight the less you have to lose so it might get a lil harder as you go on, which diet are you following?

thanks! im not really following any diet, just healthier foods, smaller portion sizes and a LOT more exercise. i go swimming once a week atm but starting this week i'm upping it to twice a week (total 3 hours a week). my main exercise was walking as i walked the school run which totalled 4 miles a day but i drive now so i go for a long walk with the dog in the evening. i try not to eat in the evening after dinner too, i go for a walk about 2 hours after dinner then its just water for me. hope this helps!

oooh yeah only a few lbs between us! i used to hate the exercise but since i've lost the weight its gotten so much easier and i actually enjoy it. food-wise i have the odd bad week but im getting there slowly. i just noticed that i gave myself until june 2012 to get to my target weight :eek: i have like 4 and a half stone to loose! id better get motivated lol how bout you?

I'm the same with exercise even now, can't get myself motivated in the slightest. Hopefully i'll get my mojo back!
Are you sticking to low fat foods too?
Good luck, you seem determined so there's no reason why you wouldn't hit target!
I'm doing ok, just restarted after a break for a few weeks... Always hard at the beginning but i'll get there lol.x

glad you're getting back on track! i've got 4 kids to run around after too which probably helps lol i dont check the fat in food i basically just have what i fancy but a smaller portion and if one part of it is bad for me i try to substitute it for something else if that makes sense. i do use low fat butter and use sweetener on cereals etc but i dont go out of my way to get fat free stuff. the main thing when dieting, i think, is calories in and calories out.if you're burning more calories than you're putting in then you'll lose weight, if you're eating more calories than you're burning then you will gain weight. its so hard but hopefully we'll get there.

I'm trying to follow the tesco diets light choices plan at the moment but keep changing the set meals as the don't sell them in our store!!
This week I think I've lost a couple lbs so I'm on to a good start!

Not sure how to find your journal on my phone but will try!

ah thats great if youve lost a cpl pounds! ive lost 4lb this week so far (that was yesterday) weighing in is tomorrow officially. missed my wii fit workout last night so doing an extra one tonight
