Induction Started Atkins today

After much deliberation and many questions about various diets I have finally started Atkins today.

So far I've had:

B: 3 rashers of bacon, 2 poached eggs & a grilled tomato
L: Handful of prawns, some chicken breast with cucumber, celery and mayonnaise
D: Planning to have a 2 egg bacon, chicken and cheese omelette.

Doing pretty well on my water; 4 glasses so far.

Not enjoying tea and coffee with cream though, especially tea. Any suggestions for an alternative?

what about unsweetened almond milk? You can buy it or make your own.
 
I only ever had skimmed milk in tea and don't like any milk much, so not sure how it compares if you are really into dairy but I can put up with it. Although I tend to drink more herbal or green tea these days and maybe one or two cups of tea with almond milk. Watch out though as some contain a fair bit of sugar - check it's sugar free.
 
I use alpro unsweetened soya milk - about the lowest cal and carb milk sub you can get and tastes great in tea to me.

Foods looking good - ill bump a meal ideas thread up in case it's useful to anyone.
 
Thanks Moonlight. I ate too much yesterday, couldn't eat all of my omelette so I will definitely be cutting down my portion sizes today.
