Starting Atkins tomorrow... as I can't stand lipotrim no longer

Hi everyone, I have stopped lipotrim today.. well been picking at protein foods all week and been totally depressed, so decided to swap straight to atkins... hoping it will be ok!
so any advice would be great!

and can someone clarify, can I eat pepparami? salami? and pork scratchings? and hellmans mayo? just a few i can think of at mo!:D

Thank u! Just trying to get my head around that u DONT count calories as some the foods u can eat are quite high calorie... Just trying to understand it x

When you realise that most of your normal foods are probably high carb then it makes sense that cutting carbs naturally lowers your calorie intake. So, you need to up the calories a bit just so you are not hungry. Does that help? Carby food is just so calorific if you think about it. :)

Starting atkins tomorrow

Hi All, im starting Atkins tomorrow aswell:eek:. A bit confused,but im gonna give it my best.Carbs are my big downfall.I find it hard to stay away from bread but im determined this time.Wish me luck.:)

Good luck. Surviving without bread can be done, it won't happen overnight but you will get used to it, just give it time. Have a read of the 'So your thinking of starting Atkins' thread in the stickies.

Good luck all newcomers - give atkins a chance and follow the rules to the letter initially. The cravings do disappear and you can lose weight when eating great food and not being hungry!

Welcome and good luck! Yes, do read the stickies and also buy a copy of one of the Atkins books - the most recent one is called A New You. Read it from cover to cover and then later dip in and out of it when necessary. Also visit the Atkins Community site, very useful information and tips.

And of course - keep reading and posting here!
