Starting Cambridge Weight Plan 22nd February!

    Deliberately chose this date as our kids will be at their grandma's for the weekend so I can be a grump and not have to deal with kids!!!

    Is anyone else starting and fancy buddying up? I need to lose about 10st so a very long way to go but small steps....

    Good luck. Just remember it gets easier and easier the more you get into it and into ketosis. The first week is quite tough but gets lot better. I'm just finishing my 6 week and loving it now :)

    I was 14.12, I'm now (was on sat) 13.2. Next weigh in is sat morn x

    Hi I've just commented on another thread but will comment here too. Yes I'm starting on the 25th, payday and a tuesday because that's the day my cdc hires the room out that she works in. I am so excited to get going and start seeing the losses! would love to buddy up when we start and now even, because I'm on here everyday to get the motivation up for my start date :)

    I started on Tuesday and have a lot to lose (15stone) I've been told to start on Step 3 though due to my BMI being over 50. Quite enjoying it though.

    Have you done it before?

    So far I have found I am not a fan of the bars which I thought I would be, that the Tomato soup is lush and that I quite like chocolate mint shakes although have only tried 3 flavours of those so far.

    Hello :)

    Well I meet up on the 24th to start the cambridge diet, I ideally have about 4 stone to lose eeeeeeeeekkkk!!!i have tried every diet god sends so I'm feeling hopeful and motivated...... :) don't really know how to work this site either, so everything is all new lol

    Well I've started on Sole Source and on day 4 and not cheated once! Go me!! I have sneaked on the scales (actually I get on every day!!) and so far have lost 6lb. I am having my first official weigh in tomorrow morning and can't wait! I'm finding it ok but I'm so cold all of the time :( I have a hot water bottle and a blanket close by though. I'm going to try soups this week although I'm worried because I'm not a fan of cuppa soups - does anyone have any recommendations?

    I have also bought a Pot Of Dreams money saving jar this morning and for every 1lb I lose I'm going to put a £2 coin in the jar. I have a wedding to go to in June and my 4 year old twin daughters are being flower girls and there is a beautiful dress I have found which I want to wear but they only do it in a size 18 (I'm currently a 22) so I am praying I'll be able to buy it closer to the time and actually wear it!

    Let's have an update of each others progress today :)

    Well I'm on day two, have the shakes, feel starving and not the greatest.... But still feeling positive !!! I'm on ss+ so I'm dying for tea time lol!!!

    I haven't sneaked on the scales yet, too scared ?!!!

    Hey! good luck for the weigh in tomorrow morning. I'm on day 5 and although the headaches have gone now I'm really craving food today. Feeling a little down about how hard this is going to be :( Anyone else feel like food is EVERYWHERE! Oh well just need to push through these next two days before weigh in.

    I literally turn on the TV an it's people eating delicious food haha! Coming on here really helps though. How you getting on? What step are you on? xx

    Ohhhh god that's not great lol..... I'm on dY 2 ss plus, I'm feeling not too bad, but been through every symptom today x x x how about you ? X

    I feel fine now, I think once you get into ketosis you're supposed to feel a lot better. It's gone relatively quicky, being at work helps I think. I'm SS and day 5 x

    I'm hoping for ketosis soon, when did you know you were? My CPC didn't have any sticks lol xx

    My CPC gave me a couple. I tested yesterday and it was dark purple which means I'm in ketosis but not drinking enough - although I am doing at least 2-3 litres a day so that was worrying. But I think the headaches and dizziness (if you had any??) are supposed to subside and you just generally feel a bit better. xx
