Step 1 Sole Source starting tomorrow...7 stone to lose

    hi all
    sorry for the grammar im on a mobile! I want to lose 7 stone. i am suffering from an auto immune disease along side thyroid problems and have gained 7 stone in 2 years. my weight disgusts me! i really need to do this. please follow me and would love some buddys x
    ps i started last Tuesday but got sidetracked with my brothers bday on the 28th and my little girls day after...cake and beer. need to restart x

    I feel your pain...

    I have pcos and it's made me gain so much weigh in such little time. Apparently stress is a factor so I'm working on dropping weight and dealing with that.

    Hi yes.

    I'm pushing 15 stone at the moment so I want to get down to about 10 stone. I've been there before 7 years ago to be exact! But life got in the way, I didn't learn new habits and a baby later it all came back.

    Now I'm fed up of being a slave to my physical issues. I'm going to change!!!

    Good luck I am on day 3. It's not too bad but I realised how much time I spend cooking or just being around food so that will be a challenge.....hope you do really well.

    Hi maybe we could support each other? I am on my 3rd day of SS and need to lose around 8 St, although anything would be a bonus. It's not too bad so far, bit of a headache today but my son is off school poorly and I was up with him last night so maybe it is just lack of sleep!! I think resisting the temptation to pick will be one of my biggest cd lady says the first 3 days are the worst. Let me know what you think?

    well i am off university this week so i don't have the temptation of the yummy cafe. the food is gorgeous. i havejust had my first shake of the day. i drove past the sandwich shop this morning and the smell of the bacon kissed me on the cheek. I had to hold my breath!! i love a big breakfast.... :(
    so...the shake is down and planning to fill up on cups of tea.

    Good luck Skins (can I call you that??) I love a big breakfast too. Actually I just love food lol maybe I need to work on that! What are you studying and how far through the course are you? I did a degree in Medieval Languages (long story...) about a million years ago. Have you tried Red bush tea? You can drink it with or without milk and once you get used to the taste it feels quite filling. Some people say they get headaches a lot on cd and I wondered if it might be caffeine related ? I just like it anyway!

    im a student nurse and about half way through im a single mum too so things r cleaning so mind is off food for now haha

    Just get through the first 3-4 days, drink as much water as possible and think of your long term goal..
    Food isn't your friend, it's just what you need to stay alive, so just try and block it out of your mind.
    I recommend blending your shakes with ice to make it even nicer and more like a milkshake.
    You can do it and after you get into ketosis you'll find it easy.
    This isn't forever so just keep powering through and vision a slimmer you each time you turn down food.

    Yep know that feeling if single mum, studying and working etc etc!!! Everyone tells me how strong I am but I'm just me trying to get a better life!

    Oh and I just had a cup of tea with splash of milk!! So go for it or green tea is lush x

    i wish i hadn't had my first shake so early cos right now im gonna have A few cuppas then start in the water. i hate the begin. i have done my kids salads for tea. so eating the food while im cooking isn't a temptation lol.pray for me!!

    I'm up for helping each other through this... I may as well be a single mum ( I actually have been at one point!) but now I have two kids and one
    Overgrown baby to look after plus working full time and running the house. It's no wonder I have adrenal fatigue issues!!!

    Lots of the reason why I ended up back like this is my husband and youngest daughter (who is 4) are highly sensitive. He has ADD and she possibly is the same but is too young to know for sure. Not slept the night through since she was born!

    But I've got to the point where I can't be sucked dry any longer and I have to do something to manage stress better. Not just eat until I enter a carb coma.

    The most successful time I did this. I learned that if we get into ketosis. It's easy!!! But getting there sucks.

    The first 4 days are the worst. Drink peppermint and green tea. What I used to do is make a 1.5 lt flask of tea and take it to work and drink that and a litre bottle of Buxton and I was at my best. Not on the toilet all night. I know they say the more you drink the more you shrink an that's true but I would advise no more than 3 as it messes with your electrolytes.

    By the way medieval languages sounds ace. Better than social policy and psychology!

    Hahah never been a fan of the soup. Remember the only palatable one was The Thai?

    Then I'm not a savoury sort (sadly!)

    I've just ordered soups as want something warm and feel like I'm eating, will let u know how that goes later!!

    Yep least I don't have to clear up after a man just two kids, cat and dog! We have to do it for ourselves and feel great about it. No more leggings and baggy tops girls xx

    haha its funny you say that. iv just been sorting clothes my current clothes size i have 13 pairs of leggings and one pair of jeans. i can't wait to burn em...:D
