#1
well i`ve cut down carbs, but still in awful pain.
i woke in pain this morn had half a shake and an apple, was ok for an hour then it started again.
just had a slice of toast with peanut butter, and pain getting worse.
i`m still not sure when the pain is worse, its bad when hungry and then after the food.
my run is on sunday, should i stop all carbs?????????
i really cant do my run in this pain, any ideas anyone???

sorry should explain, i was doing atkins for 4 months then on ss for a month, but had to move straight up to 1200 plan a week in advance of run. something about building up carb stores.
i would ask my cdc, but she has to do everthing through headoffice and it takes her a week to get any anwers.

Ohh, hun.. that's awful :(

Maybe you should try a day of 810 and see if your pain is less.. that will tell you if it is the carbs or not.. I think ? Maybe that;s a silly idea.. Just want to say something that might help out.

I'm sorry your in so much pain..

sorry been at work.
It`s in my stomach quite high and it feels like i`m going into labour, have had to remember my breathing.......lol
i`m fine now, pain went half an hour after eating?????hunger

i`m thinking about having an atkins meal late sat(fuel for run) then get straight back to ss on the sun.
if i`m still in pain after back on ss the def doctor time, but i`m 100% sure its food as it started as soon as i came off ss.
and 5 months without carbs is a long time for my body to adjust, then i suddenly start eating them fully.

did you have gall stones????? was it the same sort of pain?
I've just had my gallbladder removed due to gallstones. The pain felt like I'd been punched in the stomach but I could also feel it in my back just under my right shoulder blade (some people can also feel it down their right arm). It also got worse after I'd eaten (sorry!). It did feel like labour at times, not pleasent at all!
I really would get it checked out hun.
