Still struggling to shift the pounds

Since giving up SW I just can't seem to shift the pounds, I walk a lot and do housework plus gardening to keep in shape, I am just wondering if I should weigh my protein foods as I do my HE because most of the meals I cook are just for myself. I want to lose about 5 pound sto start with and then 1-2 afterwards., anyoen think this is a good idea, I'm also having problems with syns.
