    Hi all

I'm on week 2 of SW now but i've noticed I get stomach cramps after eating fruit and veg with the occassional need to go toilet! Has anyone else suffered with this or does anyone know if there's anything I can do to stop it?

    Thanks

    Bella xx

I had that on my first day or so this week. I think it was probably my body reacting angrily to this weird non-grease-based food I was putting into my body because it's stopped now. I am still *ahem* visiting that room more often. Hope you feel better soon x

Yeah, I did think it was my body reacting to the health food after all the rubbish I've been eating and drinking lately! Ill keep track on it and if it doesn't get better, I'll book a doctors appointment.

    Thanks!

Are you having your healthy extras and free food? Just wondering if your stomach might need more bulk to go with all the fruit acids.

Too much of some fruits do give you a dicky stomach, grapes are one I have to restrain myself on!

Too many grapes give me cramp too. I was actually speaking to a specialist regarding number two's because my little one was constipated and he said that with a healthy diet you should be going a couple of times a day and that any where between 1 and 4 times a day was normal, so I wouldn't worry about any extra visits.

Your eating more fibre, so your bound to have this 'reaction', it will settle down. :)

It could just be your body & digestive system getting used to the new foods. I often wonder when I first get on plan if the reason for going to the loo more is that my body is getting rid of all the rubbish I've eaten, like a detox lol!

phew someone else lol, I have just posted something similar on here about 30 mins ago my first week doing weight watchers and I swear theres a rumble in the jungle going in my stomach this evening, and the bathroom is looking more familiar at the moment as well

Putting it down to the healthier food and fruit and veg lots of fibre going into my body now - my poor stomach is getting rather excited and ahem clearing out all the old junk yuck sorry tmi lol

I always find Peppermint tea is fantastic for taking away the sluggish/bloated feeling you get sometimes after eating a meal. I highly recommend it xxx

    Hi Jenny

Yeah, I'm making sure I have my Healthy Extra's and free food. I have noticed that it's worse after I eat apples and satsumas so manybe they're too acidic for me. xx

Thank you all, I'm quite relieved to know I'm not alone! Hopefully it will settle down soon and my body won't be feeling so shocked!
