STRUGGLE!!!

Does anyone else find this a constant struggle.

I am only on day 4 and struggling big time. I want to eat!!!! simple as that.

Some people when they post seem as if it's a walk in the park but i am sat heere constantly thinking I'll have a salad, I won't have a salad, then thinking worse!!!!

How can I make this better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I drink loads of water so that's not the problem!!!

Reading posts I see that on the newer version of CD you can have a 200 cal salad, might have to do that i think!!!!!!!!!!!

I am struggling. i am on day 6. i have been starving to the point of crying all week but its been semi worth it with a 9lbs loss last night.
My advice is to just keep at it until you see your CDC or to give him/her a call to see what they advice.

It sure is a struggle! Just think of ketosis Wobbly, if you're in it you don't want to knock yourself out of it and if you aint you want to get in it as soon as poss! That's what's kinda keeping me going just now, had a slip up last night and today all I can think of is ketosis ketosis ketosis!! lol

Why do you want to eat sooooooooo badly?????? If being slim & losing weight is the most important thing to you right now then WHY ruin it all for the sake of a chicken salad - when in a few more days you will be a whole lot lighter!
You will be eating chicken salad again very shortly - and be able to enjoy it not only when you are actually eating it but AFTER rather than feeling guilty because you will have failed to do what you intended!
OR
Why dont you follow 790plan which allows you to eat and still be involved a little bit with food in your everyday life!
You know you can do this - why are you letting the little monkey on your shoulder tell you that you cant!
Tell it to go away and get lost! :D:D:D:D:D

I can completely relate to the struggle as I am attempting to restart.

I found the first three or 4 days on my initial start felt like they lasted at least a week each, but once you get into ketosis, it's so much easier.

The best thing is to get out and do something (or even stay in and do something) to take your mind off it. I always want to eat when I am bored, but when occupied time whizzes by so quickly.

Whatever you do, don't spoil your efforts so far - it WILL get easier.

Eyes on the prize! And that prize ain't a salad!

For me its a case of can't have it so I want it! All in the head! It's worse when on ss for me because you really can't have food but it's the quickest route to success it really really is worth it. When you get tempted pick up your water and come on here.

I was SO determined that I got through the first 4 days and into ketosis on sheer determination. Once in ketosis I've never been hungry, and used the LL counselling to deal with any emotional hunger as I've not really had REAL hunger since then.

Sorry its so hard to start, but hopefully you'll be finding it easier soon! If not - change plan and make it easier for you to stick to!
