Hi I am so down tonight. I have just been to morrisons and have to say i dont know how i did it. Im on day 10 and have felt pretty much ok most of the day until now (same last night). I seem to be able to do it so easily whilst at work but when i get home and have to cook for the kids its awful. I have been walking around morrisons thinking, i should come off this and just eat healthy food rather than putting myself through this. If it were that simple i know i wouldnt have had to do this in the first place:( My mind is saying one thing and my heart is saying another and i really dont know what to do. This morning i felt so proud to have got to day 10 and now i can see it all going wrong. I would really appreciate some words of encouragement from anybody who has felt like this. Sorry to ramble on but im desperate and just feel like crying. Mandie

Mandie, I feel so sorry for you, hun. You say your mind is saying one thing but your heart is saying another ... it's not your heart, it's your body and carb habits screaming for you to weaken! If, like me, you've listened too much to those cravings over the years then you'll know you won't find it easy to just eat healthily. I felt just the same as you about Day 10 but I beat it and woke up the next day and felt that a cloud had lifted and had no doubt that I was doing the right thing. I don't know how much you have to lose but you've done the hardest week now, babe. The best part of this diet for me is the break from food, especially my carb addiction! My taste buds have changed and I feel much more confident and in control. Will you feel that good if you give up now? ;)

    Thanks Jessie

OMG how brilliant have you done its amazing:D

I have around 3.5 to 4 stone to lose. Lost 12lb first week and have been 100% abstinent this week too. I just find im struggling with what to do with myself it that makes sense. Its not while im working because im occupied, but when i get home and have to do the kids tea its a different story.

Although i suppose i havent cheated so im doing something right lol.

Think im looking too far ahead and need to concentrate a day at a time. I think i thought i would feel better on my second week but i guess some days are going to be harder than others.

Thanks so much for your reply and i will just "dig in" and wait for it to pass and keep drinkin the water ;)

Mandie im having the same prob, i feel fine at work and dont have many cravings, its when i get home and see everyone else eating and smell their food. Is it just me or does it even smell better now lol.

I think if i came of this diet so quick id binge on carbs so thats why im trying so hard to cope with it. todays my 11 th day on it and while i have no hunger pains my cravings for any food are through the roof. maybe its the habit of eating which is making us like this

You have done so well on your first week so keep it up! take 1 day at a time and we will get through these cravings :) xx
