Struggling

    Hi everyone x

    I'm on Day 14 and the last couple of days I've been really struggling. The thing is, I know I'm not going to give up but I think it's more because of boredom. 3 shakes a day is starting to take its toll on me and I really struggle to finish them because they are making me feel sick which is getting me down. :( Luckily I'm starting the bars tomorrow anyway so hopefully this will make a difference - I know I'm not going to give in because I don't want to be like this - I want to get down to target and I believe I will. I just hate feeling this down and I don't understand what has changed because I felt so great a few days ago?

    Does anyone else feel like this or just me?

    i've been feeling like this hun too- think its just lack of choice. i got bars today and i had a ss+ meal today to get me bk focused on my shakes xxx

    I am coming to the end of week 4 and had an awful few days last week. Terribly down etc... I do think boredom and monotony sets in with some people but I have had a forced change of routine due to health problems.

    Maybe you should SS+ for a while as they weight loss differences are not really any different to SS. You could always go back to SS if you wanted to.

    It certainly can get boring I did ss for 8 weeks straight last year, the only advice I would give is if you feel down then treat yourself, I mean like a non food treat, a new top or nail vanish give your self a little boost. I really believe in doing this cos I always treated myself with food stuff before and it can change your attitude so when the weight is gone, you will look for different things to cheer you up.

    Thanks guys - at least I know I'm not the only one, although It's horrible so would rather none of us felt like this!

    Luckily, I'm going to replace two of my shakes from tomorrow. Will be having porridge for breakfast and a bar for lunch so I think a bit of variety should help. :)

    Although the last few days have been a struggle, I've stayed 100% (I wouldn't give up for anything) and I've lost 4lbs this week so I'm really pleased! That's 11lbs in 2 weeks :D.

    I'm aiming to stay on SS for another 2 weeks and then move up to 810 so i'll keep you posted x

    Hope you feel better too, I'm dreading having my dinner shake in a moment - they really make my stomach turn now :(

    Hi Jess,
    have you tried splitting your packs to enable you to have 6 meals a day. That way you go get more variety and makes it all last a bit longer. You've done really well in 2 weeks as you haven't got a lot to lose.

    Ooh that's a good idea... I might do that tomorrow as I'm not seeing my CDC til late so won't be starting on bars/porridge until Tuesday really. Thank you :).

    Thank you, Yeah I'm amazed by the losses really I never thought I could lose 11lbs let alone in 2 weeks!! :) I'm excited to get to goal and I definitely think I could get there :D for once I'm going to be slim!!
