    Does anyone get these?

I wake up usually around 3 am most nights with my body craving sugar of some kind.

im trying to ignore them...but its generaly hard..

What do other people do to satisfy them?

    Thanks

I dont have these unfortunately, but have you thought about having something like a banana or depending on the day you are on a bowl of pasta or potatoes of some kind?
Because they release sugars slowly, you should not get these cravings. Also have a glass of water by your bed to sip when you wake, as you could be dehydrated.

I get these. I usually have a few of my syns - a couple of rich tea biscuits at 2 syns each and a cereal bar or two. It has to be done or else I feel really ill and can't sleep. I'm going to see my GP because I get these during the day and feel like I'm going to faint if I go more than 2 hours without food.

A sugar craving during the night could easily be dehydration, so taking a glass of water to bed with you could solve the issue without adding syns unneccessarily.

Did you get these before SW, if so what did you do? Did you get up & have something to eat. If so it's likely this has become a habit rather than a need.

When you wake up try have just plain water, it will be hard at first but after a few nights you will stop waking up as there is 'nothing' to wake up for.;)

No - I am asleep!! Sorry, don't mean to be flippant, because it is obviously a real problem for some people.

It might be an idea if you can find out why you are waking at that time of the morning.

I'm really finding this a problem. I do genuinely need to eat something at night but eating one small thing to boost my sugar leads to eating too much. :( I'm going to try to put a cereal bar in my bedroom to help the low sugar symptoms without going into the kitchen, which triggers a binge.
