I am really struggling at the moment and hate myself for it. Temptation is everywhere!! BBQ's, chocolate and diet coke-which I am addicted to!! I hate the way I look and now only have 5 weeks until my little girl's christening. I have hardly had any photos taken with her since she was born because I hate the way I look so much-why can't I turn that to will power to keep going? I manage to do 2 days and then fall off the wagon again, constantly telling myself tomorrow will be different-who am I kidding?!!
If I can't do it for myself then I should do it for my little girl.
I will not wear any short sleeves and with this lovely weather I know I am going to have another miserable summer in cardigans with people constantly asking "are you not hot?!"
PLEASE HELP, I REALLY NEED HELP!!xx

I'm back and on day 2. I did LT for 12 weeks last year to lose 3 stone after having my 4th child, I found it a fantastic experience. I went back on LT after christmas as I'd over indugled a bit too much and I was going great, even got below goal and then I took Easter off and that was that, it all went downhill.....I should never have taken that 'planned break' as they call it. It has taken me weeks to get back on, I kept putting it off.

Keep at it, we CAN do this.

Aw stick with it sweetheart!! You know that ketosis is coming! The good weather makes it tough. I always want to sit in pub gardens and drink and eat. You know it's worth it so keep going.

Have some pictures taken with your daughter!! When you look back at them you'll only feel pride about what you have achieved, and when she's older she will feel the same way.

    Good luck babe xx

I totally hate the hot weather too - I'm forever in cardigans/long sleeves & then I have to pretend I'm not boiling when I am! But, you have something to aim for - looking great in those photos. 5 weeks can make a hell of a lot of a difference!! :)

    Good luck!

Keep chipping away at it, I am the same today, food seems to be everywhere, and I really want ice cream, but we have to hang in there and remember why we are doing this.

    Hang on in there :D

    Hi losebabyweight,

Congrats on your new baby and congrats on the diet. The first few days are the toughest but after that you will feel better, the weather is a pain, the BBQ smells and the tempation of beer gardens and the social aspect of it all....but you really aren't missing out. Just imagine you would actually feel miserable if you gave in! You can do this and lose the weight and you will be able to wear what you want in the weather, no sleeves, no cardi's...whatever you want to wear to be a yummymummy!!

Just think you could not have your pics taken, not do LT then months/years down the line you will look back and think WHY didn't I have my pics taken with my beautiful baby as I was so much thinner back then and would love to be starting my diet that size, take it from someone who knows it will be easier doing it now rather than when your 40 and your body hasn't the elasticity to go back as easilly. You CAN do it take each hour/day at a time then tap yourself on the back for making your life healthy and you will be able to have all the fun with your baby as no doubt you deserve to!!!good luck and keep posting you can dooooo it!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE-so nice to have some support!! My family and husband are really supportive but they have no idea how hard it is. It's great getting support from people who know each step of this diet and how hard it is. I know the weight loss is going to make me feel better and who knows by July maybe I won't need a cardigan anymore!!! x
