This isn't working for me...pls help

I am doing the green plan...

So... I am doing the online (I'm overseas) SW...

I did it a few years ago with a group and lost steadily and well... this time... I have no idea what I am doing wrong... I stick totally to the plan (as far as I know... thats why I'm posting here)... first week, I lost 2 lbs, the week after I put on 1lb,, next week stayed the same, the next week put on 1lb... I'm due to weigh in again tomorrow... and I just don't think I've lost... :confused: I maybe have even gained:sigh:... I am physically active, I cycle to work everyday, dance, yoga... generally healthy... have no idea whats going on... I never cheat, I weigh everything I need to, I check the syns online before I eat. This last week I reduced my syns to between 8-12... here is an example of todays green diary:

Breakfast:
coffee... with part of measured out (350mls for day, taken over the day)skimmed milk (HXA).
42g branflakes (HXB), ff yoghurt, mixed berries (frozen)

snack: 2 apples, ff yogurt

lunch: uncle Ben's mexican rice (2.5 syns...)tinned butter beans
snack: kellogs choc caramel (4.5 syns)
dinner:pasta with sauce made from tinned toms, onion, mushroom, quorn mince
2 x slice low fat cheese (HXA)

42g branflakes yogurt and fruit

snack: kellogs mint choc thing (4.5 syns)

Today was long work day, two hour danc e class and cycling prob about 10km... and a Friday night... I tend to eat more on the plan to avoid other temptations...

any clues???

So today is weigh in day... I am so annoyed with this... it just isn't working, feel like just eating whatever I want cos I'm just not getting any payback on this at all... four weeks.. and I think I'm the same weight... anyone out there who can help... ???

I am soooooo annoyed with this, my first thought this morning was to have one of my syns right away... or just kick the whole thing in cos I am... as far as I know... totally doing this and its not working at all!!!!!

Please help if you can.

I'm sorry the scales aren't moving for you, it's tough to work so hard and not see the numbers going down. Have you taken your measurements? It is possible that you're toning up more because of the dance and cycling?

Thanks for replying... the cycling and dance aren't new... otherwise I'd agree with you... I haven't taken my measurements... do they change much? Its just so weird 4 weeks in...

Hi again...

Well the clothes thing... doesnt feel like I have lost... but the high carbs are really bloating I think... this week think I'll try more veggies and less pasta...

I don't have much to lose... it just used to be such a reliable way of losing when I had gained just a little more than I'd like... this time I have no idea whats going on... I'm in Australia this time, so its hard to get the range of things, but if anything if I cna't find the cheese they say on the website, then I am going under rather than over inmy guessing of equivalents... e.g. if they say 3 slices of light cheese... I'll find a light cheese here... see that the values are slightly higher on the nutrition and only have two... Guess I am having less protein than last time, cos in UK Quorn was available in a bigger range and many things were free that aren't now....

No idea... :)

Thanks again Taniau... I'm vego, so the other days don't tend to be so useful... although I don't know about the plan you are talking of.

So... just weighed in and... STS.. yippee again... 100% following plan as far as I know and... no results.... have just celebrated with a Kellogs Caramel bar (4.5 syns)...

Can you see anything I'm doing that is not part of the SW green plan?

Decided I'm going to eat what I like tonight... been totally sticking to plan and its not working... 4 weeks in... so tonight I'm going off plan... :break_diet:

cos there seems to be no point in being on plan...:wave_cry:

So today has been a lovely outside day, forgot largely about eating, but in addition to above, i have had

tin spaghetti: free
uncle bens express basmati rice (1.5syns)

going to go out and get red wine (havent drunk for four weeks) and bar of chocolate and watch movies and start again tomorrow I think...;)

:eek: So, I am have my first flexisyn day and it feels gooooooodddd

green and blacks white chocolate, red wine and rice pudd...sooooo gooddddd

back to the plan tomorrow and see how I go next week,

will post diary on here as I go see if can see where I'm going wrong :p

Still any advice... up until I went flexi.... welcome

Sorry for the late reply, we had company this weekend.

I can't see anything obvious, but I'm new at it too.

Success Express is a way to jump start weight loss if things have slown down. There's a good write up here (not sure if I can post the link yet)

Again, been on plan all week... weight is not going dow at all... why oh why oh why...

It is frustrating cos I am doing it strictly, and not seeing any benefit. i had flexi day last sat. but that is the first time

Today I had:

breakfast: frozen berries, ff natural yogurt, 28g porridge (HEB), coffee and skimmed milk (350mls used over the day HEA)

snack, apple and tamarillo

lunch: steamed kale, boiled potatoes, boiled egg,3x kraft singles (HEA) garlic salt
apple, frozen berries and yoghurt

snack: special K bar 4.5syns, 42g all bran (HeB), yoghurt ff, berries

dinner: don't know yet

So, 5 week in I am about 1.5 pounds lighter than when I started, which if I had been cheating would be ok... but i haven;t been :-(
