Super cheap, superspeed, super success express week

Ok, I've been losing really well and lost a pound last night, which is 1 and a half pounds to my 2 stone award and 2 and a half pounds till I'm in the 12 stone category. Next week I have Xmas party/staying at other people's houses/nights out with alcohol week. While I've factored my syns around those events, I really wanted to boost my losses THIS week. So I'm trying a week of success express and trying to have at least one superspeed food per day.

Last night after weigh in, I stayed up planning my weeks worth of meals. Today I went to lidl to buy the food for it all and it was £23! To feed me for a week! I was impressed. Anyway, today is day 1. Wish me luck

So, today had leftover free mushroom stroganoff on HEB wholemeal toast for breakfast. With HEA sweetened soya milk and teaspoon of green n blacks cocoa powder as a hot chocolate

Then had homemade curried coconut vegetable soup for lunch, with HEB wholemeal toast. Followed by strawberries/raspberries with total 0%

Dinner was quorn pepper steak, with butternut squash wedges, leeks, kale and gravy. Followed by 2 finger kitkat.

Loads of water all day too! Was fine today. Hope this works out all week! Syns: gravy 4, coconut milk in soup 3 1/2, cocoa 1, kitkat 5 1/2. Total =14

So far so good. 30g waitrose porridge and bran with 160ml soya milk HEB and part HEA with loads of frozen berries stirred in. I'm counting healthy extras as literally 'extras', so I'm not trying to do 2/3 superfree to healthy extras, only to free food. This is about half superfree anyway. It's also my superspeed food for today

Thanks! My green days are always cheap, but I don't tend to plan, buying bits and bobs everyday. Planning and buying a weeks worth of food was an eye opener. So cheap! I find mixing up meals and branching out seems to help weight losses, so I'd recommend it

Lunch done. Still going strong! Made a winter stew with a stew pack, tinned tomatoes, stock, herbs and red lentils. With 2nd HEB wholemeal toast. 1/3 free was lentils and parsnips. Here's my before and after shot (proof it's 2/3 superfree). Was lush!

Mmm looks lush I may do a stew tonight now...

Hi Jael,

Well done on your weight loss so far.
Your diary looks good, i'll be following it with interest. How did you make your syn free mushroom stroganoff? It looks lovely. I'd like to see your week plan too if that's ok. Always looking for inspiration and motivation to stay on track.

HPx

Mmmmm looks good! I was waiting to see what you had for dinner lol!

Hi guys. Thanks. I will post weeks plan. I've just realised I need to modify it, because I forgot sweet potatoes aren't superfree. So my sweet potato jacket with beans needs to become something else. It will probably be beans on toast as I'm feeling lazy lol.

I'll post plan/recipe later when I get a moment

Lol. Well, this is my success express superspeed week. Whilst I'm enjoying it, I really cannot see me doing it for longer than a week. Although I might do it again the week after new year for a boost. And again if I get into a STS funk. Good thing about success express is that I'm not craving cr*p, I'm craving regular SW meals, so I think it'll make regular SW easier because it feels like a massive treat now.

Glad to be of service lol.

Well, last night went a bit belly up, since I'd brought some soup and put it in works fridge, but then someone went for a sleep in that room, so I couldn't get my food out! Ended up having a HEB of marmite on toast for my night shift 'lunch', 2syns worth of cheese puffs someone had brought in ( I could seriously eat the whole giant bag, so I'm proud of this) and this lush M&S boozy mince pie, warmed, 13syns. So I've had all my syns today already. Got home and had an orange and a plum. Followed by baked beans ( my super speed food) on my 2nd HEB of wholemeal toast. I also had 3syns of olivio on the toast, so will take that off tomorrow's total, once I get past midnight.

Just to warn you, my shift work and singleton status, mean I batch cook, so some of my meals will be the same.
