Hi when I first took xenical about 5 or 6 years ago, there used to be a phone number on the box that you could call and register with them, then they sent out a free steps counter, tape measure and other bits and pieces, also a xenical nurse used to give us a phone call every few weeks to see how we was getting on, does anyone know if they still do that? not seen anything on the packet since I have re-started them

yes it was, but I dont think they can do it anymore, as the phone number used to be on the packet, also there was a website, it had a forum but was really slow, so one of the other members started up his own website for all of us, it was really good, and I made some good friends on there, who I am still in contact with today, but unfortunately he ended up closing it down a couple of years ago cos he couldnt afford to keep it running

Hi hun, the phone line no longer exists, and you can't get any of the freebies either :( such a shame really, they're replaced it was the imap website and it really isn't great! There's no forum there, just a few basic questions and answers..there is a huge lack of Xenical information out there, especially for new starters, most of the GP's know nothing about the rules, if you're lucky you may get a diet sheet... it's so wrong, the information should be readily available to people starting Xenical..

I was actually thinking of making up some sort of support poster for my local GP surgery, with some information on it, an email address or something..

    xx

I agree with you Bunny-Hops, the nurse at the doctors was asking me about xenical, as she didnt seem to know much about it, I mentioned this forum and the my fitness pal one for working out meals, she wanted me to let her have the names of them so that she can tell other xenical users who belong to the surgery, there is very little info out there
