Surviving Thursday...

Had a wobbly day yesterday, am on 810 only it went a bit pear shaped (like myself) and found myself scarfing down three oatcakes with peanut butter... just an hour before my weigh in. The word SABOTAGE did float through my head, but not enough to stop me eating! I was lucky & stayed the same, TOTM so maybe that was part of the craving thing too... but know I have been a bit weak the last few days and need some support to get through the next few until i am back in a safe zone again!
Yesterday I really missed the daily thread/let's do it hour by hour thread, so posting one for today.
Is there anyone out there?!!!

Im out here hun! Hopefully you are feeling a bit more positive now, don't worry about yesterday, its gone.
Im only on day 3 of 810 and im still finding it hard to get my head around the idea of eating again but im determined to get there.
Hope you have a better day today xx

Thanks Sleepy. Have had my porridge and then a chunk of cucumber... allowed on 810 but possibly the start of more 'picking'. Have just promised a minimins buddy to have a cheat-free day, and making that promise makes me feel a lot stronger. Anyone else up for that?

morning girls! we can get through today. Even if you have to go minute by minute, it is ok.

I often say to myself
"Eat something" then reply to myself..
"Ok if you can make it 10 minutes without eating and you still want to eat, eat something"
then in 10 minutes, I say to myself, you made it 10 minutes, you can do another 10,.. and so on! xxx

I am on SS but defo up for a cheat free day.
So far just had a drink of that orange powdery stuff. Brekfast is going to be bout 11. Will let ya no how i get on tonight before i go to bed:)

I cheated yesterday for the first time. Not majorly and I haven't been kicked out of ketosis. But oddly because I'd had such a fear about cheating before and had my confidence knocked by almost cheating, I feel better for having done the worst? i.e. now I know I can survive the worst I know I won't do it again somehow??
Even so, it won't harm to make sure I'll stick to it. That devil on my shoulder is a menace!

Thanks Quizz, Fatfrog & Purple... my promise is still going strong, had a peanut bar for lunch and managed to keep on track. Another day like this & I'll feel like I'm getting control of things again. How are other people surviving Thursday?

Things going ok still for me....just looking at the snow and feeling miffed as supposed to be driving up to Middlesbrough tomorrow to spend the weekend with hubby. Hotel is non refundable and we WILL get there even if we have to bloomin walk lol!
Yes, i am that much of a cheapskate!! x

I was alright until I got home, but I'm feeling a bit emotional - I have no idea why. Do you think its diet related? i've only been on it for 2 weeks properly

Sleepy, I agree, you're not missing out on this treat! I suggest snowshoes or a sledge. Me & OH are off to L'pool for weekend, not a romantic hotel getaway but a visit to his mum... but still, it'll be fun! And we WILL get there, one way or another. I hope!!! Well done diet-wise, anyway!

Rach, don't know if your feelings are diet related... for me, it's usually the other way round, emotions sneak up and interfere with the diet. Or try to! I am getting better at keeping the two things separate. Could it be hormones, or totm? CD has messed up my cycle a little bit. Whatever the reason, be extra nice to yourself - think pamper, bubble bath, DVD, early night. Just stay away from the fridge! You're two weeks in, and soon the weight will start to drop off and you'll get into a zone where you are really motivated and focused. SS really does work - if you stick to it!!!

My day has been OK after a shaky start. Had my 810 meal earlier, a broccoli/cauli/cottage cheese mixture and know I am within my cals, & I still have one last shake to go. And I think from the nasty metallish taste in my mouth I am getting back into ketosis... RESULT!!! Thanks all of you for checking in and out. It helps!

Bubble bath sounds fab!

I keep checking on the snow - all of you going away for the weekend drive safe!!!

Glad you're feeling ok now, enjoy your last shake katycakes, i've just had mine and I swear I like the chocolate shakes more than i liked proper hot chocolate!

My shake is choc too... gonna go do it now, hot like hot choc. My treat in place of a bubble bath, and I have a mag to curl up with too. Bliss!

hey guys just in bed havin a banana shake and got 3 mags to keep my mind off food, I dont feel hungry its just out of habit that I want a choco bar or a pack of crisps. Night All :) :)
Are we tryin for a 100% sin free Friday ?????

Well done for getting through today!

I had a bar at lunch but then didn't get back home til about 8pm! so I've had to have 3 packs in one sitting. Quite nice actually, I made 2 into one giant veggie burger meal and actually got to eat with knife and fork! And then a choc shake to accompany. Numnum.
All my fears about lapsing have completely gone now! Not even an issue any more and I just know I won't lapse again!!

100% friday here we come..!

D'you know what Serena, it was your posts about the 810 on your thread that pulled me up yesterday... I realised I was letting things slip and that the 'little cheats' were heading towards being big cheats. So that has been a big help, and making a promise earlier on not to cheat to another mini-pal was another help. And just lurking and posting and knowing I wasn't alone. So yup, I do feel much more in control and happier again!!! I do think you're one of the most focused people on here, so thanks for the inspiration and the kind & wise words! I don't think I'd have got past a fortnight on CD without this site, seriously... it's been such a learning curve and taught me lots about support & motivation!
Well done on your fab loss... keep on keeping on!
