Susie's 2022 campaign

Thanks hun

Actually dinner wasn't quite as yummy as I hoped - the quark was a bit too bitter - but I still managed to force it down :D

Still feeling hungry so will have some water and see how I feel. Got loads of cals spare to have a sarnie later :)

Wow congrats on your brilliant weight loss Susie you must be so thrilled xXx

aww sorry to read that susue how are you feeling today xx

Thanks Shanna - and afternoon Chezza

I am feeling GREAT, thanks hun :D. It's going so well and sneaky weigh ins are showing a slow but steady reduction, so am on target to lose my first stone on Monday :D

I'm really enjoying my food and finding ways to make my favourites into low cal, and it's so easy to fit around work and socialising! (Don't you hate the enthusiasm of a new convert lol).

Saw a friend today who said my skin was glowing, which is nice - and still not had any alcohol :)

B - fruit and yogurt
L - the last S&S sachets - glad to see the back of them, tbh, too salty and not natural tasting.
D - Home made meatballs in tomato sauce with veg and possibly some miracle noodles.
S - apple

its so nice that someone as noticed and it makes you feel so good glad your ok today no alcohol for me this week

Evening all

Boy am I glad it's the weekend! Been a busy old week at work...but home in the warm now and relaxing :)

Have a good evening, everyone!

hi susie hope your having a good weekend hun and relaxing

Been very relaxed here thanks Chezz :)

Have had an awful crick in my neck for a few days but it's finally starting to ease up and I had a fab sleep in this morning, with a lovely dream about my mum. She died six years ago, and I miss her dreadfully, but this dream was upbeat and serene, and I woke up with a big smile on my face, perfect for Mother's Day :)

B - low fat fried eggs on a muffin with low fat cheese and lots of tea :)
L - veg and fruit smoothie; maybe some soup
D - not sure, maybe some veggie pasta
S - fruit and yogurt

hope you enjoy the rest of the day

Morning all

My first milestone reached at WI this morning - 4lbs off, for a total loss of one stone gone for good! :D

After two weeks, I'm feeling very comfortable with CC as a woe - I went way over my 1600 cal limit yesterday (how on earth did ginger snaps manage to get into the cupboard???) but I had a few low 1000-1200 cal days during the week and I think it all balanced out :)

B - instant oats, fruit, latte
L - Green Goddess smoothie (spinach, romaine lettuce, apple, pear, banana, lemon juice) and soup
D - chicken curry with cauli rice
S - coconut yogurt and raspberries

Hope you're well wrapped up today, it's freezing out there! xx

Hi Susie! (Hope you don't mind me stalking you here :D)

Congrats on the stone, hun - that's fantastic! :D

I hear ya on the ginger snaps. I can't keep biscuits in the house at all because I know that once I start on them, I won't stop - there's no such thing as "one biscuit" for me! :(

You're right that it will balance out, though. Some people deliberately have higher and lower cal days (calorie zig-zagging) to try to get better losses, so no harm done.

Nice menu, btw - coconut yoghurt and raspberries sounds yum :D

Hi Scrummie, stalk away, sweetie :D

Biscuits are the devil's own invention - I ate about six of them last night! Must bring them in to work...but I agree on the zigzagging, some days I'm fine with courgette soup and some crackers, and other days (like today, I suspect) I need all my cals and more! :) It's like JUDDD or 5:2 but with control exercised on the up days :)

It's so cold inside work today that I need a bit more than my toxic looking smoothie! :D Soup, where is my soup!

HI susie you make me smile you sound like your having a good day hun xxx

I am with you about biscuits. I could eat them all day, now if they could invent a biscuit with no carbs, fat and calls that tasted exactly like chocolate hobnobs.

Oh Marie stop - enough of the food porn :D .......mine would also have a layer of caramel. And some nuts. :)

Am sitting here feeling very at peace with the world :). Walking to the bus after work is normally a slow affair, with me huffing and puffing after a few minutes, but today (perhaps because of the three servings of my glowing green smoothie? lol) I had a real bounce in my step and got there much quicker and less out of breath. LOVE IT! :D

Morning all

Feeling very bouncy today, despite the bl**ming cold wind that is rattling through my work building - am sitting here in my winter coat as I type

I guess it's time to confess that I've been doing a sneaky WI every morning since I started CC . I know you're not supposed to but it's so brilliant to see the scales come down every day. On low carb the scales would bounce around all over the place, but CC is much more consistent - and makes me jump out of bed (ok that was a lie - "crawl" is the word I should have used :D) to see how I've done :)

B - oats, latte, banana
L - Glowing Green smoothie, courgette soup, a wholemeal roll
D - Joe's Sossies and the cauli mash I was too lazy to make last night
S - yogurt and strawberries

Have a lovely day, everyone x

Morning all

Bit warmer here today, thank goodness.

B - oats, latte, banana (creature of habit here lol)
L - Toxics' chorizo and bean stew
D - sossies and cauli mash leftovers
S - GG smoothie, pear, yogurt

Have a good day :)

hi susie lovely menus again and in great spirits which is great to see hope your having a great day

Evening hun

I was starving when I got home, inhaled my dinner
