SW CALCULATOR HELP PLEASE

Hi all :)

A question that has been bothering me, it's probably simple but can anyone answer please!!

When i go onto the SW calculator on their website, i'll use my lunch today as an example i had a 'Tees Valley Beef Chilli Con Carne' nice, said 194 cals for the lot so thought at the most it'll be around 10 syns. So went onto the calculator and put in a free food allowance for 'Beef' and all the stats and it said 2 syns. Lovely. Out of curiosity i put it in without the free food as beef and it came up as 9.5 syns.

Is it right if it has a free food in, even though this will be beef it wont be lean, then count the syns with the free food allowance?

Hope that makes some sense and someone knows the answer!!

Thanks :) xXx

I believe the counter will know about the beef from the fat count - if the fat is low then the beef would be lean.
Clever innit?
