Has anyone moved across from Slimming World to Weightwatchers? Did you gain the first week ? I've been doing SW for 5months and have lost 3 stone but seemed to have hit a brick wall, i wondered if a change to WW might kickstart it again.

I did sw years ago and it was a great success. Tried it last year and it just didn't work for me so I went to ww and found it fab. So liberating to eat things that we previously on sw were not allowed!!

    Go for it!

Theres no reason at all you should gain making the change from SW to WW, usually the only people who gain are those coming from a VLCD

Hi Diane, I moved over on Monday so my weigh in is this week, seems to be going OK. I wasn't very successful at SW as I do tend to graze and like my ready meals (I know they are "bad" for you salt etc.) so am looking forward to mondays WI. Let me know how you get on :D

:DThanks for all of your replies. I'm still weighing in at SW as the group location is very convenient to me, at the end of the day it's the official weighin that motivates me. I've done WW before and did lose a couple of stone. I'm starting to count points as from today so my first weighin will be next Thursday.

Yep, doing WW and weighin in at SW. I can't get to a WW group and the SW group is 5mins from where I live.I don't see a problem with this , if it helps me thats all i'm interested in.

is it the group weigh in that motivates you or the fact that it (should be) is more accurate than home scales? Have you posted an online diary?

I just need someone else to weigh me, it keeps me on track. I do not stay to group as I hate those type of situations. I will be logging my food online on the WW website, I always write it down anyway. Also my mum goes to SW [same group] and I wouldn't want to let her down by changing groups, we like the group leader , she's very encouraging.
