oooo I love baked egg custard, but usually have to have it and use a Hea, will try this tomorrow.

I am presuming its plain fromage frais and not flavoured, might be a stupid question that, but only ever bought kids fromage frais :eek:

Thank you :D

It's like a posh roasting/deep baking tray which you half fill with boiling water, so the ramekins are sitting in a 'bath'! I use my roasting tin. Ooh and a top tip to stop the bottoms burning (!) is to put a tea towel in the bottom of the tray (Thanks 'Come Dine With Me'!)

How many people is this recipe meant to serve? Just so I don't eat them all! :D

Thanks Esme I thought it would be that but didn't want to say that in case I looked like a right numpty! Def going to try this think the family would like it too.

I found this:

180C = 356F = gas mark 4 = fan oven 160C

Hope that helps!

I made this yesterday, I think I overcooked it slightly (my oven is a bit dodgy) but it was really yummy and the OH has demanded that I make it on a regular basis!

I had mine with some raspberries and chopped banana on the side - gorgeous!
