Syn-free Rich Red Onion Gravy

Kwise1

G: 8st3lb

INGREDIENTS

3 small or 2 medium red onions, sliced into rings
Frylite
1 Tblsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 rich beef stockpot
1/2 pint boiling water

Spray Frylite into a medium non-stick frying pan and heat
Stir fry the onions until softened
Add the balsamic vinegar and stir
Add the rich beef stockpot and boiling water and stir
Bring to the boil and then reduce the heat slightly
Cook for 30 mins or until sauce has reduced to a gravy like consistency.

Add extra boiling water if it over reduces

Delicious over Toad in the hole!!

When you make your toad in the whole do you just syn your batter or do you have a recipe for a syn free one? X

I'd love the recipe, I try to use my syns on dinners rather than snacks anyway so 5 syns is perfect x

Had this tonight with WW sausages - lush :)

I usually defrost a couple of the syn free BBQ sauces (frozen in ice cube trays) to go with my bangers but am now planning on freezing a big batch of both to go with other dishes.

Is this the gravy recipie from slimming eats cos I made that last week too and it's the best gravy I've ever had :)
