Syns in tablets

Hi all. This might be a bit of a silly question but just wanted to know if there are syns in some painkillers? It's just that I've been prescribed some and they taste kind of sweet  and I am taking 3/4 a day for three weeks. I tried to do a search but it only came up with cough medicine or slimming pills lol

No you shouldnt, and even if they did have syns in it would add up to something ludicrous like 10 calories so even at 4 a day for 3 weeks it's going to have zero effect on your weight loss.

Thanks!

they can't be loaded with sugar or doc wouldn't be able to prescribe them for diabetic pts etc!

Yes those may well have syns in as they're oil and not "medication" in the same way prescribed meds are (dont want to start a flame war on what counts as medication here, fans ;) ) (eg cod liver oil is 2 syns a tsp, same as any oil) - but at the end of the day it will still be miniscule in terms of calories and is not going to make ANY difference to your weight loss.
