Hubbie has suggested a take away for tea :rolleyes: which I have managed to put off but it did make me wonder what would be acceptable on Atkins from both a chinese and an Indian menu?

Spare ribs?
S&P Chicken wings?
Tikka pieces?
Sheekh kebab?

Or are they all too high in carbs?
Any advice from you would be most welcome so I can be informed for next time he asks!! :D

I think that Chinese food uses alot of sugar in their sauces and marinades, Indian would maybe the better option as they also do chicken in tikka spices (no sauce). I'm sure someone will be able to offer more info but maybe you could convince him a fresh stir fry (quicker than waiting for delivery) would be a good option but treat yourselves to some fresh prawns or a selection of meat. Asda do packs of fresh chilli, lemongrass and ginger (all in one) and that way you can split it and add another sauce for him if he wants. It's what I do with my fella and chuck some noodles in for him to bulk it out and extra veg for me :)
