    Week 3 Day 1 – Friday 17/06

    Breakfast
    2 lean bacon rashers
    mushrooms & tomatoes
    57g Wholemeal roll (HxB)

    Mid Morning
    Onken Strawberry yogurt

    Lunch
    Gammon Salad - peppers, lettuce & carrot
    2 tbsp light salad cream (3 syns)
    3 babybel lights (HxA)

    Snack
    Apple

    Tea
    5 bean chilli from Wetherspoons (6 syns)


    9 syns so far.

    I rejoined SW on the 2nd June. Aside from me wanting to get slimmer, fitter and healthier, and put my bad relationship with food back in the past where it belongs, my bloke’s sister is getting married in October, and I don’t want to be a hippo for that.

    So – Onwards and downwards. I hear about this Extra Easy thing, and I gave that a go solidly for 2 weeks, and results?
    Week 1 – lost 1lb
    Week 2 – Gained 1lb

    I am getting the 1/3rd in 90% of meals. Snacking on fruit or vegetable crudités, making better choices. I am struggling with my Healthy Extras though.

    Anyway, decided that for Week 3, I will return to the old Red & Green days. See if that will help.
    Though today, because I had gammon to use up, and I am out for my tea, we’ll do EE…
    Bring it on, leave the hippo behind…

    Good luck with the diet, i was doing extra easy and did.nt lose anything so this week i chenged to red day and lost 3lbs so i am staying on red days.

    Thanks Sue, it's useful to know that EE doesn't seem to work for everyone!
    I ended up at a chinese instead of Wetherspoons, had chow mein for 7.5 syns, and too many drinks to count...

    I ended up staying at the fellas all weekend with a killer hangover on Saturday and terrible look-at-me-I’m-a-girl pains today.. So food kinda went out the window, I aimed for Extra Easy while I was there. Still, not beating myself up for it, cutting back to 5 syns for the rest of the week. Should be fine, I don’t have any hurdles..

    Week 3 Day 2 – Saturday 18/06


    Breakfast
    Beans & tomatoes
    1 slice wholemeal toast (HxB)

    Lunch
    Subway - chicken teriyaki with heaps of salad
    (picked something on the low-fat options while he had a beautiful meatball sub… *sob*)

    Tea
    Chicken in a honey & soy sauce with pak choi and rice (2 syns)

    Snacks
    1 x cookie - ~10 syns
    1 x Bacardi & lemonade - 4 syns

    Not too bad, but not great on a SW scale…

    Week 3 Day 3 – Sunday 19/06

    Breakfast
    lean bacon rashers
    mushrooms & tomatoes
    1 slice wholemeal bread (4 syns)

    Lunch
    57g wholemeal roll, cucumber ham & 38g low fat cheddar (HxA)

    Snack
    WW yogurt
    Chocolate - 27 syns of stupidity. Oops.

    Tea
    Chicken stir fry with veggies and rice (2.5 syns)

    Looking forward to a good week this week :)

    I am usually honest, if I make something and it is vile, I will warn... haha

    Week 3 Day 4 – Monday 20/06/11 – Green Day

    Breakfast
    60g Wholemeal Roll (HxB1)
    Mushrooms, tomatoes
    ½ tin beans

    Lunch
    Leftover chicken (HxB2) stir fry with heaps of veg and rice (2.5 syns)

    Tea
    Quorn sundried tomato fillet (0.5 syns)
    Pasta
    Spinach
    A little passata & basil
    71g light philly (HxA1)
    42g lf cheddar (HxA2)



    Snacks
    Strawberry Yogurt
    Banana
    Apple
    Rice Pudding (8.5 syns and disgusting)

    Week 3 Day 5 – Tuesday 21/06/11 – PIG OUT DAY
    I let my feelings and memories take over today, just felt like sh.t and all I could do was stuff food in my gob. Most of it was "free" but still, quantity exceeded.

    Wish the boy hadn't had to work late x


    Extra Easy day
    Breakfast
    3 x Quorn Sausages (3 syns)
    Mushrooms
    Tomatoes
    2 x eggs

    Snack
    Onken Strawberry pot of yumminess
    Mars Bar (13.5 syns)

    Lunch
    Pasta, Quorn, spinach, peppers, tomatoes and philly (Philly counted as HxA yesterday)
    Bread roll (HxB)

    Tea
    Steak, chips, dry-fried onions & peppers

    16.5 syns, but to be fair, Quorn Sausages were free last week, I begrudge counting a syn for them now… Ah well!

    Woke up too late for breakfast, so stopped at Tescos to get some bits...

    Breakfast

    Ham Salad sandwich (HxB1)

    Snack
    Cake at work (11 syns)
    Fruit pot - Strawberries, apple and grapes
    3 Babybel Lights (HxA1)

    Lunch
    Ham Salad
    1 tbsp elf salad cream (1.5 syns)

    Tea
    Bolognese - ExLean Minced Beef, spinach, mushrooms, onion and tomatoes
    100g cooked pasta (HxB2)
    2 babybel cheddars (HxA2)

    Pudding

    After Eight icecream (9 syns)

    Snacks
    2 Quorn sausages (2 syns)
    Banana
    Fruit pot - strawberries grapes & apple

    Lunch
    Ham salad
    Rocky (5.5 syns)

    Tea
    Pizza - Warburton square (8 syns) passata, peppers, pepperoni (syns?), sliced ham and mozzarella & cheddar (both HxA)

    Pizza after WI is either that "homemade" one or a takeaway....

    Out for tea with blokey's parents - Hunters Chicken, New Pots & Salad. Left the coleslaw and mayobut could not resist the dessert - Warm chocolate brownie with icecream... ;-)

    I haven't done too well this weekend, it's been tough. Gonna pull it back though, this week I will be successful...!!!!
