Team Fairy!!!!

#3
Hello! *hifives the Team Fairy peeps*

Good idea to have a thread for the team. Should we avoid discussing weight losses in it though, so we can TOTALLY shock the others at the end? No point giving an incentive to work harder to them, although they will NEVER keep up with us :D

hi Ladies!! How are we all?? I hope you've had a lovely day. The weather here has been lush. I haven't started my diet today (CD SSing) because i have been eating watermelon all day, infact thats all i've had today, lol. I cant get enough expecially with it being so nice outside. I actually think i could live off watermelon for the rest of my life, lol.

So back on the diet tomorrow :).

Whats everyone else been upto today? Anything exciting? I hope you've all had a good day.

Speak soon xx

ps, i have noticed that we are all doing different diets which consist of eating different things, so if anyone is interested in the diet i am doing then i would be happy to explain but here is a link to the diet:

Hey everyone! Another lovely day :) maybe Baby, watermelon is the best, apparently you can freeze it too and eat like a lolly, but I've never tried it. SS is sole source, right? where you can only have 500 cals as well as those packet things? I have a list of low cal foods from my Eating disorder days if you need some inspiration :)

Well We're meeting friends for a picnic today, I've calculated my share at 6 points, and thats still with yummy treats. I'll eat lots of strawberries and maybe get some watermelon now!

Have a wonderful, sparkly Saturday lovelies xxx

Its not so sunny today where i live :(. Its warm but no sunshine :(.

Yep i am on sole source. We have between 500-600 cals a day but only by eating the Cambridge Diet meals, eg. soups, shakes, choc bars, & ready made drinks. I can only stomach one flavour though, CHOCOLATE, lol, so i have everything in chocolate flavour. Occasionally i eat the Porridge, but its too warm for that these days. The diet is easy in some ways but its the psychological hunger thats difficult to overcome.

On the Cambridge Diet we have about 6 steps that we work through after Soule Sourcing that increase your cals and carbs slowly until we are on 1500+ cals. But I'm interested in your low cal foods once i'm off the diet.

I also just wated to add that i think you are an inspiration to me having got over your eating disorder. I had times in the past when i was bordering on an eating disorder and it was really hard to let go of that control. I also know how easy it is to slip back into your old ways of eating, so i am happy that you are eating more healthy now and losing weight the healthy way.

I hope you have a wonderful time at your picnic. Its just the right weather for strawberries and watermelon.

We have some more watermelon in the house today and its so hard to resist. I want to have some so bad but i need to be 100% SSing. Although having it yesterday helped my lose 1-2lbs, lol.

Anyway, i hope you all have lovely day xx

Aw Maybe baby, thank you for your kind words :) It's not been easy, still isn't if I'm honest. I worry I'll not be able to stop, but I'm under the very good care of my GP and psychologist so I know I will be fine :)

I never realised that CD had so many steps, I guess it's designed to enable you to lose weight fast and then maintain the loss (which we all know is the tough bit!)

At least you get to drink chocolate shakes everyday!!! :D

Keep up the hard work everyone!! :D

Well, been a very wet here today and it's still raining. I'm currently making tomato sauce, rhubarb and roast aubergine to do over the next day or two. Saves me time as I work long hours.

Visited my mum today and took her out. 1st stop was M&S coffee shop. Second stop was Starbucks! I stuck with tea both times while she tucked into a bun and then a scone. Feel so good I resisted the temptation. Better get used to it as my old mum can only get out when I visit and the coffee shop visits to her are a big treat.

Anyway, hope you are all having a great weekend :)

Izzywhiz: I can understand that getting over an eating disorder can be really difficult and some people never really recover. But i think you are doing really well and looking at your weight healthily. I hope you continue to do well with your GP and Psychologist.

I have had choc shakes all day and i am really sick of them today. I am going to pick up a few new flavours tmrw, maybe my taste buds have changed. Today has gone well but i am resisiting take-away food right this moment as my siblings are sitting behind me eating and its all i can smell, lol.

Linda: Well done for resisting temptation :). Having to sit in a coffee shop with the smell of coffee, hot chocolate, cakes and sandwiches is really challenging but i'm sure you'll get used to it and continue to do well :)

I hope you've all had a good day xx

I did the same :) Is there a way of having a mass pm for the group so everyone knows the losses?
