I have fallen madly in love with Zumba and thought it would be ace to get the other addicts all in one place together!

And then I thought - Hey! Why not set ourselves a challenge!

So here's my thinking....From the 1st June, we've got 6 months before the christmas party season really kicks off (I can't believe I'm thinking of christmas in May!!) so let's think about where we want to be and how many Zumba classes we want to take by then so that we can have a bit of a Zumba twist!

So let me start the ball rolling......(it's 26 weeks...)

Why the hell not! :D

Got to find me a class first but what have I got to lose |(apart from weight ;) ) by going? Besides, it'll tie-in nicely with wanting to be at goal weight by December :)

Excellent! Thank you Joanna. I have contacted a local instructor regards starting a class next Thursday :D Dependent on how strenuous it is, there are more than enough classes in the area to do it as often as I want :)

That's ace :) I've done four this week, with the potential to do another two if I so desire!!!! I've worked out my target of classes by December based on three a week though given that that is far more realistic!!!!!

Can we class our Zumba Wii as a class (if we do say 45mins)? as I can't get to as many classes due to them starting early (not driving sucks at times like this)..... if so I'll be in. I already go to 1 class a week but will be upping it to 3 with the Wii game.

Ahhh I love this challenge!! I'm addicted to zumba! Havnt been in a while cuz of cash flow but Hopfully getting a second job very soon! Will have to zumba on the wii till then! Please put me down for 38 lbs (pat) and say 40 classes. Thanks :) x

I've decided with the DVD to work my way up over the next week and a bit to the 45 mins a week - add to that my spinning class and I may actually drop a couple of lbs

Sounds good! I don't think any diet works without exercise to be totally honest. Plus when I'm at the gym I'm not at home thinking "oooh what can I eat now!!!" I'm doing body pump as well now, although that kills me for days after! I used to be so fit! I did spin then body pump!!! Now I struggle with one class of pump! Unbelievable! x

After how I felt after my walk this evening, I'll be waiting til the 1st of June :) I'll use the last few days of May to get into the habit of walking round the block (almost 3k), then increase my activities by adding 1 zumba class a week initially. If it doesn't kill me.... well, I'll see ;)

I love the enthusiasm :D Go with the flo' Jo (sorry if you prefer Joanna, but I couldn't resist the rythm in the rhyme ;) )

3k seems rubbish to me, especially as it took me 40-45 minutes to do it :D The aim is to be able to do it comfortably in that time by the end of the weekend. If I can, I feel sure I could complete a 45-60 minute Zumba session without embarrassing myself too much ;)

Oh, and well done on the weight loss :)
